I see a pre-order for Volume 1 is now available on Amazon, with a release date of June 8, 2021.

 

Figured this would be a good place to share this since it's not in the main HR thread

 

This looks good to me. Are we thinking this is gonna be the first major featuring of Stellan Gios? I know he's going to show up here and there but I can't recall anything else being teased where he plays a big part.

 

Awesome! Is this just a single volume or multiple volumes?

He's also front and center on the cover of The Rising Storm, the next "main" novel, so I reckon he'll play a big part there. That comes out a few weeks after this does, though.

 

I am loving these designs and art

....except for how the main character stores her lightsabers. Seems...very awkward.

Well yes, but that case there is a physical blade weighting everything in place. As these are lightsabers and only the handle is physical, I am not sure how they are hanging like that - maybe the handguard clips to the belt?

...Plus, it looks like if they got remotely turned on the blades would go right through her legs. I mean, not something remotely likely to happen I know, but it would make me nervous if I was her.

I do want to emphasize it is small quibble though.

 

The Jedi are not ones for practicality. Alas.

No. I think that site has combined two separate items, as a GotW manga is due at the same time.
