Well, I've calmed down and am not totally crazy anymore.

How was your walk?

 

it was wonderful. it's too hot in our house, but outside it was breezy and cool, very refreshing.

what are you up to tonight?

 

Just watching TV and checking out some of the web.

I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off.

yeah, it's great to have three days off. i'm lucky enough to have that too, except for me it's monday through wednesday.

no, nothing exciting or interesting happening here. i'll probably go to bed in a little while... i have to work pretty early and i've been kind of behind on sleep lately.

i'm wondering, do you ever try to switch your schedule around on your days off or are you content to remain nocturnal all the time?

 

I'm nocturnal all the way.

I'm a daysleeper. If I switch it around, my sleep gets really messed up and I start getting around 15 minutes of sleep when I go back to work. So, I'm happy to stay up all night.

 

that's pretty much what i figured. it would be pretty hard to switch your schedule around and back in three days. if you had a longer vacation on the other hand...

so, do you actually prefer this schedule or if you had the opportunity to get a day job with equal pay and still have 3 days off would you jump on it?

 

I'm not sure. I really like the people that I work with.

On the other hand, it really screws up my social life.

 

yeah, it would do that.

seems like any job, it has benefits and drawbacks. i've always kind of liked the idea of working graveyard, maybe because my dad did when i was a kid. i don't know how well i would actually handle it though.

 

I think that it's funny that we pick a different thread everynight to post in for that night.

 

yeah, we have to keep 'em all going so they don't feel left out. plus tonight just feels like a hot tub night
