Well I will be in Noosa tonight as well.

Just to spice things up. And no, it is not some rendezvous with Lozza. Nor Casual. Leave the innuendo for the Quote-A-Thon thread!! [face_laugh]

Lozza's Bored, what are we doing?

Well I was at Southbank Cinemas and saw Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Enjoyed it a lot, although they had the sound way too loud. I mean, loud. It was almost unbearable during the musical numbers.

    But, movie: good!

Saw the trailer for Goblet of Fire. Okay it does look good! Even though they show what Lord Voldemort looks like!

    Gooba "Hopscotch!" Fish.
    Corpse Bride reference, dummies!

I didn't like the songs in Corpse Bride... the rest of the movie was cool but I didn't think the songs fit properly (and my cinema was extremely loud too.. freaky)

    Partial GoF Spoiler (Highlight)
What you see of Voldemort in the GoF trailer is not what he actually looks like. ;)

    What I'm doing:

I was watching Ewan get ready for a round the world motorcycle trip, then realised ther was gonna be much more motorbike riding and probably much less body seeing as they were riding through Russia.

So now I'm cutting and gluing silver hearts for our departments Christmas decorations for"the heart of Christmas". My job is to mkae hearts and get people to write their Christmas wish on them and put them on our Christmas tree. We;re also collecting groceries for the Smith family and getting doctors and just people write some nice things for the aptients of my hospital. Feels nice to be doing something positive.

Also of course if you do sometjhing sentimental you can WIN the comp LOL. Though last year we did win with Christmas in space. Yes it was my idea, and yes it was my son's star trek uniform hanging above the reception desk at the hospital :)

NeecH the only song that really bothered me was the one in the "Pub". The rest fitted in quite well. To me, that is.

Anyone else seen it? Grieyls? Thoughts? Maybe Lozza can be inspired to go see it and stop being Bored.

Gooba "I can't believe it's not stop-motion! Hang on, it is..." Fish.

Hey, I thought it was great, music and all. Then again I've always had a soft spot for stop motion animation no matter what it is.

Speaking of Stop Motion Animation..I watched Creature Comforts last night on the ABC, which I've been meaning to for AGES! and loved it. Very funny stuff, although I had trouble understanding the acccents occasionally.

It's a show where SMA animals discuss human things, like relationships etc. FUNNY. Worth a watch on a Thursday night...and then GILMORE GIRLS is on Arena after it! LOL. I do love a good Gilmore Girls episode against my better judgement.

I'm currently finishing a 9 hour wrestling match between myself and a Appellant Submission. Sure, it looked great yesterday, but the harsh light of today showed it for the stinkburger it actually was.

Done now. Now I've only got three more assignments to finish. That's 9000 words to go.

    *sigh*

    Be seeing you,

    Well I certainly wasn't bored...
Just finished a very eventful shift on the door. The club had the Mundine/Green fight on, and sufficed to say, the action wasn't just on the telly. You know it's been a wild night, when you get told to mop up the blood stains on the floor. The Police paddy wagon was doing double duty the whole night carting away punch drunk loonies. I saw a guy get Capsicum sprayed for the first time, which didn't look pleasant. What made it worse was that there was only two doormen including me.. and I absolutely hate writing up the incident reports after nights like these. Oh well, as Jayne Cobb says...

If I were you, I'd also add taping down your ears, donning head gear, strapping on shin guards and bandaging your knuckles, hopefully by then whatever trouble there was would be passed.

Health and safety! health and safety!

Naaaah, don't much care bout that other stuff Kahls...
just wanna keep me chompers on the account of my love for FOOOOOOD.:)

    You know what's funny though?
It's the whole spin campaign that the club CEO has been on with all the local papers.
That, and the knee-jerk over-rostering of Security staff,
now that the brown stuff, has hit the windy thingy.

It does mean I won't be able to make the X-Men premiere next week...
But the overtime is gonna kick @$$ for me.;)

Not so much bored as terribly stressed at the moment...
Serenity is currently grounded for a week.:_|

...And no, it ain't the catalyser.
A split in the radiator has caused her to run overly hot,
thus doing some costly damage to the head gasket.:(

Yes, yeeeass, it was my own fault...
I was kinda givin' it some at the time... and by some, I mean all that it was worth.
But you see I had to... Them REAVERS was after me!!!

Okay there were no Reavers... just a '97 XR8.
Serves this bogan right for punching above his weight class.[face_blush]
(but hey, I didn't lose by much)

    In any case...
The impending repair bill is definately gonna dent the ole Mortgage Deposit Fund.
Why Can't A Yob Catch A Break Once In A While![face_tired]<-Edit: Part Depression, Part Emoticon Fatigue.

*sends droids CJ's way to help fix the ship

Sorry you're stuck without wheels. Not much fun, specially when you know you're sorta to blame. She'll be okay soon, and your fund will get back on track. Really.

edit: oh and it's Friday night, my munchkin's crashed, and i'm about to eat pods and watch Tristan and Isolde. Missed it at the movies. So if I'm bustin outa my jeans and crying in a few hours, then it's my fault!
