A few interesting shots from the latest trailer caught my eye:

Are these Clone Troopers? My off-hand knowledge of the various helmets is not great, but could this be an intermediary "generation," maybe Stormtroopers still using an older-style helmet?

I don't recognize this uniform, looks a bit fancier than usual. Have we seen these before?

Nice to see the TIE Bomber back in action. Could this show be the first occasion of TIE Defenders appearing in live action? If we get some extended dog fight scenes, hoo boy that would be sweet. =P~

    Nice shots.

Look like clones to me and definitely a new officer uniform.

Also, the TIE photo seems to include the old 1975 Star Destroyer design.

This guy might seem friendly and harmless, but there is a real possibility that he's an Imperial spy and Cassian will have to shoot him in a dark alley.

That thought occurred to me, as well. I'd lay odds against it, but definitely within the realm of possibility.

Willi being Imperial spy is a good theory. His scene didn't seem to have any point. He was weird old guy in local bus. But if he is spy it makes sense. He may actually recognize Luthen and know there is rebel activity on Ferrix.

Those are obviously imperial phase II clones. I think this is from flashback in which Clem Andor is killed. Next generation is TK-trooper.

New uniform indeed for the Imperials. I wonder which branch uses these fancy capes.

Tie Bombers were seen in action destroying Sundari in BOBF flashback scene. But defender shouldn't yet exist. Maybe later in this show.

Hope for a rather detailed look at its headquarters on Coruscant.

Well they definitely had some good screen time in Andor Ep.4!

Lots to unpick with the dynamics going on in the briefing room.

The ISB are equally intimidating, entitled and arrogant (with everyone including themselves).

Shout out to the TIE pilots who made TIE Fighters scary again in Ep 4.

I'm surprised Doc Brown wasn't listed in the end credits.

Anyway, the Empire is awesome again (in a villainous way).

One of the only two things I could criticise with Andor is Syril seems obviously to turn and become a rebel...It's a pretty weak complaint, who knows he may turn into a psychopathic killer.

She wasn't in it for long but Dedra had some good scenes in Ep.5.

I wonder if Ep 6 will have more Empire screen time (the heist) or if the next 3-part arc will focus on the ISB?

Who is the engineer from Coruscant..?

Either Krennic or a new character.

Will this series show us how Galen Erso came to trust Saw Gererra sufficiently to look after his daughter? And will it also show Andor knowing who Galen is?

The latter isn't necessary as we can just accept the info-dump in the interrigation of Jyn Erso by the Rebels.

But the former...Well, how does an Imperial engineer get to know Rebel extremists? Does the dam heist kick things off?

Although...I have no idea why Galen would go to Aldhani. So maybe it's not going to happen...

The dam heist is occurring in the same year that Jyn last saw Saw before the main events of Rogue One. She's no younger than 16 at this point, well after the Rogue One prologue.

The Death Star ought to be well on its way to completion at this point in the timeline, so Galen wouldn't be coming "from Coruscant". He's probably giggling while overseeing the instillation of the exhaust port he designed while the heist is occurring.

Krennic seems the most likey or mew character. And since this is a prequel to Rogue One it wont be a cameo, but part of a story.

Cassian needs Bohdi to point out Galen to him on Eadu, so he might learn of who Galen is, but he shouldn't know what he looks like.

So that just leaves the Saw connection. I guess that's not covered in other material?
