I'm overthinking this playlist way too much.

 

I'm surprised she is winning as well. I think it's cause she is kinda normal and down to earth (not saying that as a bad thing) while a lot of the other song are out of left field and kinda weird. I was definitely expecting a different song to win, but I won't say which one until the polling is done.

What's your prezzie? An election. With one clear favorite. In fact, the only way for people to make sure 'she' doesn't win is... vote for 'Streets', the lesser of two evils. If any of the other songs takes your fancy, tough luck. It's a wasted vote. People need to be pragmatic today.

 

I'd complain about making this some weird metaphor but... uh... *double checks his draft playlist* never mind.

 

Here's the thing about the free version of Spotify: on my PC I can play Vivec's playlist as many times as I want, and can select whichever track I want; on my iPod I'm stuck with the app, which lets me play through the playlist once, then starts adding tracks of its own choosing, so I'm no longer listening to Vivec's picks but those of a corporate algorithm. And there is no way back. I can only play the full tracks on shuffle, and shuffle will not let me go back to the start of the playlist. I've been unable to find any way past this.

 

What if you make a new playlist, and then drag all Vivec's songs into it?

 

Good question. I suspect the same thing will happen. I tried 'liking' 2 of Vivec's list, so I could play them using whatever the play tracks I have liked option is called, and... it added a ton of tracks of its own to my 2 track list, and did not start with either of my tracks. That really pissed me off. I mean, it's free, but just really annoying.

 

Yeah, if you make your own playlists it works much better I think.

I'm making a synthwave album for y'all with the dark synth songs from this list and other stuff from the same artists. I figure since a lot of people have ended up liking this genre you might enjoy a playlist with more goodies.

 

Vivec, this playlist is giving me flashbacks to my drug days. I like it, but I'm remembering people and places I'd rather forget.

 

People said it jokingly but I actually moved my vote from Aurora to Streets , coherently with my ideas about splitting the vote.

 

I'll move back to Streets in the interests of DAT SAX. I'm a single-issue voter.
