Just finished the sj playlist, and if I could change my vote, it would be for 'The Mercy Seat'... that was niiiiice. Also really dug 'Zen and the Art of Xenophobia' & 'Where'd You Go'. Didn't dislike a song, but found the beat to 'Get Your Riot Gear' to be a bit bizarre... seems at odds with the lyrics.

Just finished listening to sj's list. I was only familiar with Common People (over familiar, actually), but I liked most of the tracks.

I really liked Ben Folds Five's Army, but I'm voting for Zen & the Art of Xenophobia.

I've got to say parts of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' Where'd You Go sounds a lot like Big Audio Dynamite's E=MC2

Idk, I hadn't heard many of these at all. I might re-listen to the playlist and switch later, but for now that's what I'm going with (although I guess time is almost up).

Soits, what made you vote for Zen and the Art of Xenophobia, out of curiosity? I know that's one no one would have been familiar with.

And @Lord Vivec I am glad you liked Robots. Definitely up your alley. My brother's friend was in that band actually, otherwise I wouldn't know about their one album.

 

The lyrics and the energy. I love sharp lyrics, and this track has a bunch. Less keen on Get Your Riot Gear, but I'll still check out more Five Iron Frenzy.
