After a first round of listening I went with Doris Day but many more would be needed to be sure.

 

I really wanted to not be the Can Con cliché that I am, but with the week I'm having "These Eyes" put a rare smile on my face, so it got my vote.

 

Aww cheer up emo kid. <3

 

Enjoyable list. It was a tough call I managed to narrow down to three.

I just added a totally emo song to it. Woe is me.



Oh and I voted for the Hozier song. Never heard any of their stuff outside Take me to Church, but this was good too.

I know this is a joke but I listen to all the lists even if it's music I think I won't like.

 

I'm wavering between a high-concept list that will have great songs but not be fun and a very high-concept list that will have fewer great songs, but will be very silly. I think I might go with the silly one. Both of my previous lists have been . . . well, my first one was extremely cathartic and the second one was kind of half-and-half between somewhat more fun songs and really sad songs . . .

 

I went for Lana Del Ray. I've heard one or two of her tracks before, but not this one, and it stuck in my head. April Showers by ProleteR was something else I wasn't familiar with, but it's weirdly catchy.

 

No more than one song by each artist is my plan - at least one soundtrack is to be expected

 

Damm it, I had "Hold On, Hold On" on my list.

 

So I may or may not have accidentally put two Christmas songs onto my playlist.

 

Oh that's right. We did a Christmas version of this once. Complete with anecdotes.
