15 minutes to go!
Is there a recommended method for watching this?
click on the link in the first page and create an account. You'll find everybody there.
So, in London
Another suggestion! Next weekend we are going jurassic with...
After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first horrified by this new power, a hooker convinces him to use it to fight crime. And ninjas.
Never a movie has had such a strong "they first thought of the title and then they thought of the plot" vibe! Be there! Or be square!
Tonight... it's dinopriest vs. ninjas!
If your priest is not fighting ninjas for your salvation it’s time to find a new church.
Or give up organized religion altogether.
Two hours to go!
10 minutes to go!
Our second feature starts in 4 minutes!
JESUS CHRIST: VAMPIRE HUNTER!
Might pop in for a bit for the second one--usually I don't like it when competent filmmakers try to parody bad movies, though. They tend to come across as unfunny and condescending. Anyway, that was my impression of Velocipastor when I saw it a while ago.
The only "bad on purpose" movie I've seen that I liked was Kung Fury, and that's more an homage to bad movies than a parody. You can tell that the makers really love those horrible old 80's low-budget action films.
A good night of fellowship and worship.
If I'd remembered this, and doubly so if I realized that Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter was being watched.....
the second one is quite the movie (I own it on DVD)
Yeah, JCVH was worth the watch. Laughed out loud several times.
The VelociPastor... was fun, had a couple of good jokes, but as Ben said it was just too self-aware.
Sorry I disappeared !
Hope you enjoyed the Jesus movie.
The fight between Jesus and the atheists is glorious
This Saturday we are going to be watching another bad movie classic. Plus it's been a while since we last saw a cyborg film!
A run-away human slave from Earth's future escapes to the present.
That's all iMDB has to say about this movie. Twelve words, more than enough to spell "bad Terminator knockoff."
Be there or be square!
This abomination is visiting us tonight!
I am amped for it. So much so that I am gonna attempt to make it. I have the most gawdawful jetleg I've ever experienced in my life and fell asleep at the dinner table like a pop pop.
@A Chorus of Disapproval
You'll end up being more awake for the second movie than for the first
As the MST3K guys said, there's no war and it's not in the future.
