Last week we watched a movie that pretty much everyone loved.

    Yeah, I know, disgusting.

So tonight we are going with a film that was requested years ago and that for several reasons we haven't been able to watch before! It's another one of those movie vying for the "worst movie of all times" award.

    It's THE GIANT CLAW!

When electronics engineer Mitch MacAfee spots a UFO as "big as a battleship," from his plane, the Air Force scrambles planes to investigate. However, nothing shows up on radar, and one of the jets is lost during the action. MacAfee is regarded as a dangerous crackpot until other incidents and disappearances convince the authorities that the threat is real. Some believe it is a French-Canadian folk legend come to life, but it turns out to be an extraterrestrial giant bird composed of anti-matter whose disregard for human life and architecture threatens the world.

What's that in the sky? It's a UFO! It's kaiju! No: it's a garbage movie!

    Be there or be square!

Amazing film. Svengoolie aired it a few months back and I was astonished and ashamed at how much of it I recognized.

Next week we are going back to the most extreme, more radical nineties!

    Because it's happening, my friends!

    We are finally watching HACKERS!

A young boy is arrested by the U.S. Secret Service for writing a computer virus and is banned from using a computer until his 18th birthday. Years later, he and his new-found friends discover a plot to unleash a dangerous computer virus, but they must use their computer skills to find the evidence while being pursued by the Secret Service and the evil computer genius behind the virus.

See Jonny Lee Miller fresh off Trainspotting!

See Matthew Lillard absolutely being MATTHEW LILLARD!
Discover why Roger Ebert loved this movie that iMDB hates!
    Hack the Gibson!

Hey @JoinTheSchwarz, would you object if I stole your bad movie night format for a virtual party on Wednesday? Thanksgiving Wednesday is normally the biggest bar night of the year, when all the out of town folks come back to see their families and childhood friends--and promptly remember why they always felt the need to be so stinkin' drunk back in the day.

Well, this is Thankslockdown, baby!, so while this year you may not have to put up with your uncle's horrible second wife who only talks about her colon and her mangy Shi Tzu's colon and how they've both been "terminal" for 20 years, IT ALSO MEANS NO BARS (in eleven states plus parts of two more states and also Puerto Rico, or if you're a person from any random place who just wants to be alive in 2 weeks).

So what to do if you can't go out and get smashed? You could stay in and watch really wretched films over Cytube with all your e-friends. And also get smashed, if that's your thing.

Most of the folks coming will be local to EST, so we'll be starting earlier than Dave does, about 6 pm New York time. We will then proceed to go until we all hate each other and everyone is puking blue in the back of a squad car. Just like a real bar night!!

Forgive me for posting the link without asking you first, Dave, but if I don't do this now, I will completely forget about it until 20 minutes before the thing is supposed to start.

Why Plaid Wednesday? I don't know. All the good colors for days are already taken, I guess.
