The next movie or the time for the second HELLSCAPE session? Or both?
I won't be doing anything else on Saturday (except maybe I will), but I don't want to watch Hellscape again.
Honestly, if you can't watch The Black Gestapo on Valentine's Day, when can you watch it?
I figured that those who have already seen Hellscape probably don't want to go through it again, so the thing would just fall apart. Better go with a different one. Dave, you could just pick a film and we'll go along with that.
I'll be out with a friend in celebration of his birthday on Saturday, but it's possible I'd be back with enough time to participate; and it's got to be a viewing of Gestapo.
i know let's watch hellscrapes
Both could be good. Something for everybody.
Okay, well if it's Gestapo, I have to be there.
We should probably go with a different movie tomorrow (something Valentines related, perhaps?) and leave HELLSCAPE for next week so that people can be warned in time, and go with TBG for March as originally intended.
Found on YouTube: Paris Hilton's The Hottie and the Nottie.
Oh, I also found this:
RLM did a dinosaur themed Best Of The Worst that had Theodore Rex. It's certainly a good choice but you might wanna also check out Tammy And The T-Rex.
Looks like I'll have to miss out again. I'm performing in a play tomorrow night.
EDIT: Oh, and I've seen Theodore Rex. I'm just saying, you need to be really sure before you pull the trigger on that one.
Is it "so bad it's good" or simply "bad"?
I would say it's just bad. I wouldn't recommend it as a "so bad it's good." Like when a serious movie is bad, it's hilarious. When a comedy is bad, it just ******* lays there like a dead fish and you can't even mock it. But I mean, it is exactly the movie it looks like, so if you're down for a dinosaur cop comedy, it is the one to go for.
I saw it when it came out. I was a small child. I don't remember much.
We could always watch The Bronx Warriors, that I mentioned above. It has some vaguely romantic suplot and if you don't like this trailer, well, I don't know what to tell you...
What I'm getting from this discussion is that the book version of Theodore Rex was not adapted very faithfully.
I had to Google that.
So the channel currently has a "coming attractions" reel on loop. For your consideration, you know:
My vote for tomorrow is The Black Gestapo, definitely
If you guys choose that one, let us know what time, in advance, because that's the one I really, really want to watch.
Yeah, I'd rather watch something else (maybe Starcrash, Japes?) tomorrow and fix a date for The Black Gestapo, so that people can cancel any other appointments they might have and save the date for THE NEW MASTER RACE.
OK, whatever. I was good with a 2nd viewing of Hellscape, but so long as I'm home, I'll watch whatever drek gets put on the player.
I'm down for whatever. I could do another Hellscape night. I've got a cold, so I'm just sick in bed this weekend, so I'll be around. Starcrash sounds funny, too. But an encore viewing of Hellscape, for those who weren't around would be fun.
Hells yes... I will 100% clear my calendar for that one.
