That's a fantastic submission PadmeLeiaJaina. Perfect time for an Episode 7 theme... great use of the Falcon and BB-8 beneath the logo. Also, the TIEs and Falcon look very sharp between Finn and Poe. Nice work!

I took some of my favorite teaser images so far and started with the banner background:


Then I added the forum logos and spacing. Pretty happy with my first attempt! May need to see what kind of images the new trailer brings tonight and submit again. Here is the final:

It looks good, but the colors are distracting to my eye. Obviously you're not done, but its shaping up well. Too much focus on one section of the saga, but that's my taste

 

So when does it actually have to be done? Next Tuesday?

 

I used to make banners for the roleplaying forum years ago so I decided to go for a latenight Photoshop session and take a crack at it. It's been a while so I'm a little rusty. Here's my submission, definitely open to suggestions. Tried to give each episode some space, I'm pretty sure there's at least one image on there from every movie (including TFA). If someone wants to preview it with the forums and everything underneath that'd be great, as I'm about to fall asleep on my keyboard and can't find the will to attempt it.

 

You're going to want something in the bottom-left corner, which is visible when the banner is put together.

Per some feedback here is my take on a Saga banner. There are two versions with Episode VII variations"

 

@Dranem It's good but top left is too convoluted. The Podracer doesn't fit in against the logo.

 

Yeah I really wanted something Episode I related but it is busy. I replaced it with the Jedi Council floor to make it less obtrusive and added a new Kylo to the end:

 

Why don't you use The Droid invasion of Theed instead of the Jedi council floor? When all the TF Vulture Droids are flying over the city? It would really mesh well with the Battle of Geonosis LAAT's in flight.

 

Dranem, why are the blue lightsaber - purple? Otherwise, great work!

Really love this! its amazing

 

Tried to go with a theme about sunsets/silhouettes for this one. I like the contrast of the oranges and reds with the blue logo and forum colors:

The difference is ridiculously subtle, but I blended Bespin with its neighboring backgrounds as suggested. Hopefully, it's slightly more pleasing to the eye. I really wanted to preserve the carbon-freezing chamber's dark colorization, using Boba and Jango as 'bookends'.

Also, I'm considering the addition of a ship above Yoda. The sky feels a tad empty there. Perhaps his lightsaber blade instead.

 

Entry one:

 

I like it, maybe add Obi Wan in between Padme and luke and Han between leia and Finn.
Heck do some magic and make Obi on the left side PT and then on the right ANH.
Also add a Kylo and or Poe. and do something with Vader.
