Yes, sorry, just been stressed lately. I've been thinking about that actually, and will bring something before the council shortly.

 

Sorry to hear you’ve been stressed, been dealing with anxious feelings myself.

 

I did this today actually, I took my lightsaber (larimar blue blade) and fought. I could feel the Force with me. The peace that I felt swinging my saber, and the joy as I engaged the image in my mind in the dueling contest, perhaps it was the Force itself dancing with me. It was a sweet reprieve indeed.

 

Dehydration definitely affects people mentally as well as physically (experience speaking here). And that's not just a summer/heat problem, I've gotten a little dehydrated when I'm out in the winter cold and dry weather too. Everybody should drink more water all year long. Water creates life, and makes it flow. Literally.

 

I do not remember ever trying archery; it sounds like a lot of fun, though! Hope you feel better soon! I try to keep lots of water or other drinks nearby when I am outside for long periods. Some of the tournaments my daughter is in can last all day during the summer.

 

I tried archery at a Renaissance Faire. Ironically I used my left hand to pull the bow which means you are a left handed yeoman, even though I use my long sword with my right hand. I was pretty good with the bow, but even better at knife throwing.

My sword master often was at the faires, so it was fun. Back then I had chain mail coif (covers head and neck), a Templar tunic/ surcoat, my own custom long sleeve white shirt I sowed a red cross on, and my Kingdom of Heaven Sir Balian de Ibelin Hand and Half Longsword (which allows one to use the sword with two hands or one hand).

 

I did some archery in the cub scouts a long time ago.
From what I recall it was a real pain in the finger tips.

 

I’ve always wanted to use a crossbow with the metal bolts used in Medieval times. Crossbows didn’t fire arrows typically, they fired metal bolts akin to tank shells. King Richard Coeur de Lionne (The Lionheart) was sick on The Third Crusade and sat firing his crossbow bolts at the enemy.
