Great job Stryphe!

That was truly an excellent parody and I really enjoyed reading every part, from the first scene of FOTB to the last part of ROTB. Now we just need to convince PJ to get working on the Hobbit so you can write a parody for that.

 

You know, I really need to read this sometime. I've read bits and pieces, and I've read is really funny.

Actually, I abandoned that little project, as I realized most people wouldn't pick up on most of it.



(For those who are curious, it was called "Gushbashers", and was a line-by-line spoof of "Ghostbusters" -- not a movie everyone here is guaranteed to be intimately familiar with.)

I don't know, Adam - I think you'd be safe with a Ghostbusters spoof. That seems to be enjoyed around these parts.

I think it might even be fun to do a Godfather parody. Edit>Replace All makes keeping the names consistent that much easier...

A ghostbusters spoof would be sweet. Imagine all the people/concepts who could be ghosts. In good fun, of course.

It's gotten to the point where when I see the movies now, I hear bits and pieces from this thread in certain places, like Theoden's speech to Aragorn about not being so lucky in his friends. I don't hear "And who would come, elves, dwarves?" I hear, "Mods, admins."
