More proof that stadiums are about non-fans, not fans.

Well that debate is over with. Shohei had a groundbreaking year too. But it's hard to argue against Judge being on an ALCS team plus the home run record plus all the other eye popping offensive stats. He was no slacker in the outfield either.

Was wondering who gave him that vote. Meanwhile, a St. Louis writer gave Edwin Diaz a 2nd place vote and Ryan Helsley a 5th place vote for Cy Young.

    Amazing.

I'm just looking forward to Chris Russo talking about the two California writers who voted for Ohtani in First Place over Judge for MVP. He'd promised he'd have a cow over anyone that did.

Twins unveiled new uniforms and a logo today.
I like how they look different than the other twenty teams that wear navy and red. The new logo looks bizarre though. Looks like the old Marlins and Steelers had a baby.

Royal-vibes with the font/coloring on the ‘Twin Cities’; still a good look, though.

Im assuming the star on it is the North Star in reference to Minnesota being called the North Star State.

I still don’t love it, the generic M is such a common choice in sports and the classic interlocking TC for Twin Cities is unique and still looks great, I really don’t think it needed an update.

    Like the uniforms though.

No complaints from me. Is the "twin cities" alternate for City Connect? Thought they liked to put on a big show with a separate reveal date for those.

    @mnjedi yes
The uniforms also feature a new hat with a white "M" and a red mark meant to represent the North Star, an emblem now used across all four Minnesota sports teams. The "M" hat represents the first time since 2013 the team will wear a hat showcasing the letter.

@Darth_Accipiter this is just another alt and not the city connect based on the release info I see

The Twin Cities uni is kind of cool, though I don't like home jerseys that show a city instead of team name.

    Amazing.

I don't like any of them. Probably the worst set in team history. Don't mess with a classic.

Twins don’t have a decisive uniform in their history. Your best bet would be to return to the two they won World Series in. But I’ve always disliked those because the TC is absent from the cap.

I have never understood the "TC" love.

Feels like a slap together while ripping off the Reds' winged C.

The underlined M was unique enough for me.

At least with that Twin Cities set the TC logo is a single color. I can get behind that a little more.

As to the uniforms themselves. They look bland and basic.

The "Twins" one is the absolute worst. It looks like something the Rangers threw out.

No one expects your road greys to rock, the Minnesota Blue is entirely forgettable.

The Twin Cities set...KC is gonna sue somebody. Need the cash for the new ballpark no one wants.

And the new M looks like a reject from the Marlins search for an identity.

Total fail. 3 years of this, and they will "embrace the retro" back to the 90s kits, where they should stay.

Not a fan of the M logo.
Should stick with the interlocking TC.

    Yikes.

    I don't see a HOFer in there.

If you twisted my arm, I'd vote for Torii Hunter and Omar Vizquel...but I have no support but personal preference.

I bet Andy Pettitte gets lots of votes this year.

Someone will get in. The machine only makes money if people get in.

Of course if it wasn't for the steroid crap, A-Rod would be a shoo-in. But then again, you'd see the same argument for Bonds, Clemens, and McGwire.

i mean, i see plenty. rolen, helton, and wagner should go in this year based on their performance last year and the weak crop of new players. a-rod and manny should already be in, but whatever.

i'd vote in andruw and omar, eventually sheffield, but he's on his 9th year and may run out of ballot time. next year's first year shoo-ins should be mauer and beltre, and 2025 is ichiro.

Scott Rolen is for sure getting in I'm like 80% sure he gets in this year.

Sheffield should already be in, as should ARod.

I'll need to think a little about what my full ballot would look like this year
