Episodes haven't exactly been dropping at 3am on the dot so I ain't gonna check until 3:30 to avoid disappointment

My brother an I made yoda shaped waffles just to watch it and it's 2:05 and it's not even out yet. Hurry up Disney, I'm begging you

It has been up for me since 10 mins ago, at 3:05 am local time.

This introduction was SO GOOD. I'm already obsessed with this episode 5 minutes in.

OMG why is everything about this show so freaking good? I want to speak about this. U hate keeping myself from spoiling every single scene. Moff Gideon is just AMAZING.

Second edit. Guys. This is not an episode. It's a movie. Waititi is phenomenal.

Easily a 10/10.

Star Wars at its finest hour.

So many things.

Spoiler: Are you kidding me?

1. THE DARKSABER.
2. We heard his name. We saw his face. We saw his story. Chills.
3. He is going to go find the Yoda planet. The next season will be a hunt for it. I cannot wait.
4. The armorer. Wow. She knows about the Jedi. She made it sound like it was 100 years ago, when it was only like 25 or so.
5. Finally he has a jetpack. It was a protocol issue apparently, not that he has lazy or lacked the resources.
6. This felt like a Star Wars movie. So good.
7. IG-11 and his entrance to the city was phenomenal.
8. The opening scene with the scout troopers was golden.
9. Baby Yoda now stops fire.

 

That was really good but

why wouldn’t they check the crashed tie fighter and just assume mof died? Also they didn’t get rid of all the imps did they?

 

Just finished Chapter 8 - can I give it 11/10?

I don't know where to begin - the action, the jetpack, the name & unmasking, the Terminator 2 vibe from IG-11, the reveal of who saved young Dyn, and the Darksaber.

Everybody who had a hand in this earned their pay and it is going to be one hell of a wait for season 2.

 

That was SENSATIONAL!

 

Probably the best 45 minutes of Star Wars Ive seen since Rogue One.

I can't express how loud I screamed when I saw the darksaber. Even with it's Mandalorian connections, the darksaber Of all things, this was the LAST thing I would have expected to see in this show.

Unhinged Gideon with a frickin Darksaber is gonna be the most entertaining Star Wars villain since Palpatine’s intro.

Taika Waititi needs an award for being the greatest person in Hollywood right now

If you ever told me as a kid we’d get a big action scene of IG-88 (11) massacring stormtroopers on a speeder bike carrying an infant Yoda while helping out Apollo Creed and Boba Fett

I wish we got at least a given name for Baby Yoda because at this rate I’m just gonna self detonate too if I have to hear another year of Baby Yoda

I like how the reveal of Mando’s face wasn’t really a big deal and I think he still keeps the mystique as long as that only happens every so often

paz vizsla is gonna be the only one who survived Mark my words

I don’t like how the others stayed back on Nevarro, just seemed like a rash decision and they would’ve made a good family for Mando on the razor crest

they hired Toro Calican Actor because they wasted their whole budget in this episode

even though it will be a while before season 2 we can get a pseudo prequel with the a siege of Mandalore arc in Clone Wars

 

I love this show and fully intend to marry it.

 

just want a little less filler next season and more stuff like... not episodes 5 and 6
