But since the Ahsoka-Maul duel in TCW was Mocap, I doubt there would be much difference to the process of choreographing and executing the duel, which is what the sequels seemed to fail at.

Well to fair to the sequels it seemed to be that by that time lightsaber fighs might have been a dying art and with Ben and Rey both being new to this i can wave away them not being that great. Luke In TLJ seemed to have some prequel moves. TROS they seemd to have soke prequel fights.

 

Given that Gideon is built as a Mandalorian-centric villain, it wouldn't make sense for Ahsoka to face off against him in a duel.

 

And Ahsoka would/should absolutely destroy him if he doesn’t have Force sensitivity.

I think Ahsoka will be this wizard mentor we see a few times.

 

Wouldn't make sense. Bo-Katan hated Maul for killing Pre Vizsla.

One thing to highlight, which goes along with certain rumours, Mando is looking for a Jedi and Ashoka isn't a Jedi ;-)

I believe she gave the darksaber to Bo in Rebels.

 

Ahsoka, Ezra and Cal are jedi even if they don't consider themself anymore. The first jedi probaly didn't think of themself as one either.
