The Mandalorian The Mandalorian 2.05 - Chapter 13 - Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

Alright. Just finished my Thanksgiving dinner (I'm not American but I live in Alaska with my American family). Putting kids to bed, Then I will fire up the last 4 episodes of TCW, then it will be time. Ill probably watch it 3-4 times before I go to bed!

Cant WAIT!

 

Super stoked for this one considering three things...

1) Every episode has been consistently great this season.
2) Based on the trailers, we are entering unknown territory.
3) Season 1 really got rolling in the second half.

Fortunately I am working night shift and I will be able to watch this one as soon as it drops!!! Hoping for that Ahsoka episode tonight!

 

What are your guys predictions for tonight’s episode?

 

That I'll make lots of loud, affirmative noises!

 

That it will cause a LOT of discussion!

 

That we're going to get a surprise and it's not going to be what is anticipated!

 

If the spoilers are true, I expect people to **** themselves.

 

I've heard nothing except that we MIGHT see Ahsoka... I guess we are about to see!

 

I just rewatched all previous season two episodes with my friends who are now all asleep so I guess I’m watching the new episode by myself.

I can't believe what I'm watching. Filoni deserves a movie.

 

That's what I thought, not even halfway in I was like "How the hell did Favreau and Filoni not do the Sequel Trilogy?"

Edit: I love the reference to the HK series of assassin droids!

The way this show keeps dropping Old Republic references, they better make KOTOR Canon again!

Also, I think it's all but guaranteed we're going to see a live-action Ahsoka show or film soon.

 

Though, Ahsoka would have known 2 other's of Grogu's species.
Yoda and Yaddle.

 

I just watched the episode and loved the way it was handled.Surpised Baby Yoda or Grogin grew up at the Jedi Temple and am curious on who took him from there.Like how Ahsoka is still hunting Ezra or at least I assume that’s why she’s looking for Thrawn.Wonder what Ahsoka meant by “A Jedi will come looking for him” honestly doubt its Luke and there’s no other Jedi left besides Ezra so it’s a toss up.Now Mando has a weapon to fight Gideon with which will be very interesting to see.Id give the episode 9/10 it was very good and my favorite of the series so far.

 

I feel like the series is really starting to hit its stride now, although this episode in particular makes me really sad for how the sequel trilogy turned out.

I'm so utterly filled with joy right now.

 

This episode was a roller coaster of emotion. But I think knowing Grogo's name and his attachment made me smile the most.
