I still can't sign up for the service in Canada and it's going to launch day and date which is causing me several panic attacks daily, I need to sign up and DL the apps on my phone and PS4 so I am ready to go but nothing so far. I don't wanna have a sign up crash at zero hour, I wanna watch Mandalorian!

 

I can’t see Reddit links on my phone, but I’m assuming this is a reference to the air dates?

I'm surprised that this is going to go simultaneously with TROS...That's kind cool.

 

The reactions to it have been really great. I wish I could see this in a theater with a bunch of nerds. Home TV, even with a couple of friends, isn't enough. I need to hear the whole crazed nerd reaction experience.

now when they say an hour do they really mean an hour (aka a full 60 minutes of content) or an hour as in 42 minutes (an hour with commercial breaks)?

Disney are idiots for locking this behind Disney+ that isn't everywhere. Most pirated show ever? Well, since there will not be a legal option for many outside the US, very likely to be.

Then again, Disney decided that Resistance only warrants a R1 DVD release too. In both cases they would clean up with BR/DVD releases in combination with streaming. Many fans would pay both, these formats do not tend to cannibalise each other.

 

Maybe they don't care and see season one as advertisment for Disney+. Maybe Disney+ airs in other countries when season 2 starts.

 

They may well indeed be arrogant enough to think people will be forgiving and grateful to be able to access it far, far later. Consumers can be forgiving, but not always.

 

disney plus is ad free. so it'll be the full hour, i i guess.

 

Can't say I get what the series will actually be about from that. We just see our main character being cool
