I'm hoping for Ving Rhames to play Willrow Hood.
The latest photo with George and Jon might be at an ice cream parlor. Sorta like a malt shop / ice cream parlor / soda shop all wrapped into one. The Mandalorian better not ask for a Tab, though. Those metal canisters probably have sprinkles and toppings in them, and I'm betting the tall teapot vessel on the left is a chocolate syrup dispenser.

If anyone fancies catching up on how Mandalore has been shown in new canon, I have made an edited version of the first Clone Wars Mandalore arc into a one-hour Star Wars movie. One of the best arcs of the Clone Wars and very Kenobi heavy!

    In Full HD and downloadable

The video needs a password, which is smudger9

I'm planning on doing the same for the Series 5 arc before the Mandalorian is released.

I'm glad that he seems to be on board. When he visits the sets, it’s not a PR stunt. Its usually very quietly done and we only find out afterwards.

I suspect this project will get the most curiosity from George. Firstly because a live action TV series is the one thing he didn’t manage to do, and secondly to see if any concepts from Underworld have been used.

Great to see Lucas on set.

I know he's stated multiple times he's officially retired, and I know he is focused on raising his new daughter, but I really wish Lucas would film something new again.

It would be great to have Crispin Glover in this series. Maybe some sort of crime boss.

I’m thrilled to see George on the sets. His creative input on one scene in Solo was spot on, so it’d be great if he was still passing some notes. But I think we can all agree that his talents don’t lie in directing, but in idea-generation, in the editing room and on an uncanny visual instinct. He’s admitted this himself. So why continue to clamor for him to direct?

George did not look too happy in any of the pictures I have seen. :( I hope he was happy though, he deserves it.

"On the next episode of, "The Mandalorian" The Mandalorian takes his helmet off...or does he? Stay tuned!"

The Mandalorian is going to be played by Norms wife from Cheers.

When does George ever look happy? He doesn't do happy.

Edit:. Except, umm, that picture up there.
Hmm. Okay, so I'm wrong. Sue me.

Seriously, though, will this apparent (and weird) "victimisation" of George Lucas ever end? I'm pretty sure he's moved on with his life.

So much this. Fans treat him as if he’s a baby seal that was clubbed to near-death and is barely hanging on in a remote Siberian wildlife hospital.

This was great, thanks for sharing the edit.
    Hadn't seen allot of it.

However I think for the show, that might be allot of baggage, and allot of Mandalorians.
I think I preferred when very little was known about the armor, and the one who wore it.
And there was really only one of them around.

You’re very welcome. Glad you liked it. There are some amazing arcs in the Clone Wars which make for great cinematic features.

He was not a fan of CGI. When producing Iron Man, he was against a CG suit until the ILM guys showed him two suits, the real one and the CG, without telling him which was the CG.
