I was just wondering if anyone else here is looking forward to The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, which will both be released in cinemas in 2003?

As of right now, the release date for The Matrix Reloaded is 15 May 2003.

Also, the new posters for The Matrix Reloaded are already out, you can see them at the Official Matrix Website.

    "The Matrix is the world
that has been pulled over your eyes
to blind you from the truth."
    - Morpheus, The Matrix

    i REALLY am!

I've watched the Original Matrix show almost 10 times and is hands down the best show I've seen ever (yes, better than Star Wars)

Unfortunately I'll be in camp when these 2 open, but I hope feverently to be able to catch it on a weekend

    Also next year
    X-Men 2
    Daredevil
    Hulk

    =)

    I know!
But unfortunately, cash is a bit tight for me at the moment... hmmm, anyone game to dress up for this movie as well??
And next year, we get to dress up TWICE for it too - haha! :p

    :) "Recyclable" costumes :)
    Gotta love that idea!

Heehee, I will make so many people faint if I come as Trinity (Sp?). :p

Money tight also this year. I keep over spending lately too and I haven't been buying SW merchandise (shun the Insider) for months. :_|

I think you would make a great Neo, JediClare! ;)

Well DE, even if you don't go as Trinity, there's also Switch, the Oracle, and the new character Niobe played by Jada Pinkett Smith :p

Matrix... I didn't like it. The only good part was the special effects. Otherwise, nono.

Hmm... I didn't like the plot. Didn't like the acting (at some parts), and a couple of other things.

Yeah some of the acting was pretty bad, imho. But on the whole I quite like it :D

I always look out for plot & script first in a movie, and Matrix rates quite high IMO.

Doesn't make it better than SW though :D

The Matrix is a good movie... it's about postmodernity... if you think carefully about the postmodern theme and message that the movie tries to convey, you will realise that The Matrix is a reflection of life in Singapore...

The first ep. of The Matrix is already mindboggling in terms of its theme. I wonder how the other two will compare with the first instalment in terms of relaying a theme or message to the audience.

I don't care much about the action scenes as you have seen many other movies ripping off the slow-mo action shots ad nauseam...

    Matrix Rocksss!!!
Only question is if the sequels will be as gd or better then the orginal.... ESB was better then ANH!
I love the Lobby scene!!! the only game that copies that scene is Max Payne....
I dont mind having stormtroopers in place of the security guards....
    Bring 'em on!!!!!

What is Teh JCtrix? Thanks to the link in JacenHornSolo's profile. :D

Is anyone considering costuming for the Matrix premieres? If so, my friends suggested modifying raincoats to make trenchcoats... :p

This one is esp for all those collectors out there! :)

    Check this out:
    Matrix Reloaded Stuff

The minibusts look pretty good, don'tcha think?? :p

I also think that the action figure where Neo is fighting in this large hall is pretty darn cool!

I have a feeling that the particular scene which this action figures shows will be one of the more spectacular and memorable scenes in "Matrix Reloaded", much like the Kung Fu sparring scene between Neo and Morpheus was in the first Matrix movie.

Just an update on the release dates for the Matrix sequels.....

    Tha Matrix Reloaded - 15 May 2003
    The Matrix Revolutions - 7 Nov 2003

And somewhere in-between these 2 release dates in early Jun 2003, the Matrix Animatrix DVD will be released.

This DVD apparently includes one Animatrix which is supposed to be like a Matrix 1.5 and is actually a kind of "prequel" to The Matrix Reloaded.
