    Hello,

Here's the low down on the next Memorabilia show, visit the website for more up to date info www.memorabilia.co.uk

For Nostalgia fans, it?s the weekend not to be missed!

Now into it?s second decade, Europe?s largest collectors event The Memorabilia show returns to the NEC on the 2nd & 3rd April for another weekend of nostalgia. Once again you?ll be able to rub shoulders with famous names from the worlds of Cult TV, Movies & Sport whilst shopping for your collectables.

The Memorabilia show has become the ?must attend event? for many collectors and fans of film, sci-fi, cult TV, pop & sporting memorabilia and has become the place to buy and trade with more than 650 dealers from the UK and around the world. There really is something for everyone, whether you looking for props, toys, posters, comic books, autograph?s, books, DVD?s or whatever it is you collect, the chances are there will be something you want to buy and someone who will be able to help you - all under one roof. This coming April?s event will introduce a number of new attractions including our new feature areas.

The Force is strong with this one?

The Star Wars area will celebrate all six movies and beyond with props & replicas from the movies & a host of special guests including a rare UK appearance by Anthony ?C3PO? Daniels. Model & Collectors Mart will be launching their 2nd annual reader awards at the show, make sure to pick up a free copy of the magazine and register your votes at their stand where the dark lord of the Sith himself Darth Vader as played by actor Dave Prowse will be launching his Biography at the show. Toy manufacturer Hasbro will also be there to preview the forthcoming first wave of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith merchandise and you can also try out the new Wizards of the Coast game.

The Memorabilia Movie zone will include a movie theatre where you?ll be able to preview the first reel of the up and coming 20th Century Fox film ?Night Watch? along with a number of trailers for forthcoming films, including the brand new trailer for Star Wars Episode Three ? Revenge of the Sith. There will also be exclusive Fantastic Four movie giveaways for you to take home along with other 20th Century Fox goodies!

Is there a Doctor in the House?...

To coincide with the launch of the new Doctor Who series we have included our very own Doctor Who theme area. This celebration of the classic era is set to please fans old and new. There you?ll get the opportunity to meet the fourth Dr - Tom Baker, the sixth Dr ? Colin Baker and the seventh Dr ? Sylvester McCoy along with some of their companions including Leela, Peri and the Brigadier. You can also see life size replica?s of the TARDIS, K9 and several variations of the Daleks. We are very pleased to also include the actual Who Mobile that was used by Jon Pertwee in the early 1970?s. To complete the area there will be a whole host of monsters, props and costumes from the universe of Doctor Who. You can also have you photograph taken in front of the giant CGI screen that will place you in a scene from the show. SFX Magazine will also be promoting their Doctor Who special edition, the perfect item for the collectors of time lord signatures.

    Meet your heroes!

Over the weekend there will be over 80 special guest stars and personalities from the Movies & TV including David Carradine, Britt Ekland, Danny John-Jules & Robert Picardo who will all be making rare UK appearances. Joining them will be a host of famous names from Star Wars, Doctor Who, Dawn of the Dead, The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter & James Bond to name but a few.
