Glad that this thread's back up, especially since the Heat were destroyed by the Pacers last night.

Also, that is a great website. :D

    Go, Orlando, go!!

It's generally a tight game here in the beginning of the fourth, but Orlando continues to stay just slightly ahead at every possession!

Looks like the Magic will hold on, which would make Miami now 8-7. Definitely lol-worthy [face_laugh]

How long until Riley is coaching the team?

And the Magic winning made me a happy camper. It got pretty good there though...

Grrrr... I somehow managed not to vomit while cheering for the Magic and Redick. He's sort of fun to watch now that he doesn't wear a Dookie jersey. Sort of. :p

Hey, I like Felton now that he's no longer wearing Tar Heel Blue (though, to be fair, those Bobcat jerseys he was wearing prior to this year were pretty ugly too). Same for Sean May and even Ty Lawson to a certain degree.

Hansbrough, on the other hand... yeah, not so much.

I understand wanting to make sure no one gets hurt, but to take away shirts? Um...I think that's a little excessive. And what, are they going to take away people who boo & jeer? And maybe Cleveland's just afraid of another, well, Cleveland incident...like beer bottles being thrown at players :p

I'm still expecting Lebenedict to go "Carlos Boozer" on us and develop an "injury" before the game at Cleveland. Pretty sure it took three years for Boozer to finally suit up for a game in Cleveland after he left because he was "injured" when the Jazz went to Cleveland the first two years, and I'm pretty sure he also didn't travel to the game.

Maybe it'll be his elbow again ...

Jade and I are in the same boat, I may be from LA, but I am a Magic fan through and through.

At least we got it together in this game, unlike the previous Heat/Magic game I shall not mention...

So, what's up guys? Are the Heat giving you a good laugh?

I have to admit it is pretty funny.

That was great. The best thing about Mike, he didn't join the Pistons, he stayed in Chicago until he beat them.

    Who could forget that? :p

Seriously, though, that is pretty ridiculous. Athletes get booed regularly while playing.

Hockey teams are regularly booed out of their own rinks if they're birddogging it; and the audience throws things if they are *really* upset.

So grow up. It's part of the game.

Players that left their old team under bad circumstances usually get booed the entire time they have the ball/puck. Look at Jaromir Jagr in Pittsburgh for a good while.

Dan Gilbert rebuffed the ESPN story about the Heat game via Twitter. They'll be taking away profane things and other things that cross the line, but they aren't going to stop people from having anti-Lebron merchandise, signs, etc that are in "good taste".

Of course, those statements haven't stopped Clevelanders from promising to rain D-batteries from the upper deck. You stay classy, Mr. Unemployed and Bitter Steel Worker.
