Mini Series The Mods (Mos Vespas Ride Or Die) Thread (Spoilers)

Drash was my favorite of the group

 

I agree Drash has potential -- her design was better than the other mods -- not really as clean and new looking I think -- but they could still go farther and giver her a harder look.

The most obvious improvement is to jettison the scooters and go with more of an industrial feel.

But do you think we will ever even see these characters again? I haven't seen SW fandom so united on their dislike of something since Jar Jar.

Do these characters deserve saving or should they just be forgotten?

 

I have acquired a Vespa in a game of chance, the slowest ever built.

 

Comics, novels, games and appearances with the Mandalorian come to immediate mind. Especially the Mandalorian S3 and if he needs muscle I’m sure they’d assist. Their are a lot of opportunities available moving forward.

 

I wonder if the Blue Bike was made for these aliens

 

Well, it's possible that their loyalty to Boba Fett may influence them to take aspects of his Mandalorian armor as they grow older. The rebellious phase is always against the current authority. Since Boba has made himself to be one of them rather than one of the Pykes or the Hutts, they may form a cult around him and start taking cues of his weaponary and equipment.

 

This idea has some potential, I think. And they would also be influenced by Fennec, too.

 

I'm probably in the minority that likes the colors and chrome of the mopeds. Sometimes, it's not about how fast you get there, but how cool you look when you arrive. I get that choice; this is what I drive.

 

I'm not sure the color itself is a problem. To me what doesn't work is the rainbow effect of the different colors, and also that the bikes seem too clean.

What about black, dark gray, blue, and maybe something else like red? A mix like that would seem a bit less cartoony.

You are definitely not a Vespa rider as that car looks cool and looks like it goes really fast. You'd probably even outrun the Falcon in that.

 

I kind of wish Boba just recruited the Nikto biker gang. Those guys looked tough and appropriate for a setting like Tatooine. The chase scene and shots of them storming the Mayor's office wouldn't have looked quite as comical.

Agreed. She looked like Arden Lyn from Legends.

 

Yellow was the worst. He looks like the lead singer of Flock of Seagulls.

 

I guess Drash is my favorite, I’ve always had a soft spot for moody punk girls. Would have been funny to see the gang get into a spat with Garza.

 

How about an option for 'anybody but spinny-shooty guy?'

I cheered aloud when that main dude crashed his speeder in the finale. They were very unneeded
