Mini Series The Music of The Book of Boba Fett

My goodness, did this first episode have some memorable cues. It looks like this show is actually a collaboration between Göransson and Joseph Shirley. It looks like Shirley might be a protege of sorts, having also worked with Göransson on films like Black Panther and Tenet.

Anyway, count me as a massive fan of that new theme. Dynamite.

 

Can't say I care for the music. That theme above is completely off for me in regards to Boba Fett or Star Wars in general.

 

Kind of like Ramin Djawadi.

I'm liking the vocals in this and other parts of the score, and really looking forward to a soundtrack release.

 

I think it is a fitting theme for the show; good feel to it.

 

Parts of that theme remind me of this:

Fantastic. Not as completely genius as Goransson’s work on Mando, but still a big cut above the rest.

 

The male chorus is a hell of a flex. Primal, tribal stuff.

I like the theme. its enjoyable to listen too. Wouldn't have expected it for Boba Fett. But it seems like alot of how they handle this show really is for the strength of Temuera in the role.

 

Pretty damn cool.

 

Don’t get me wrong, this is decent music, but I am still miffed that John Williams wrote music for Boba Fett but it has been ignored by the showmakers.

 

That’s music for bounty hunter Boba Fett before he was swallowed by a sarlacc and became something else. The change in music makes total sense in that regard. It’s more primal now, since his rebirth. And in that context, the Māori-inspired chanting is genius, IMO. Great choice to do a clean break from Williams. As it was in Mando. Creative and bold, as George would’ve approved of.

 

The music was ok, but nothing special.

I really liked Robert's take on the old John Williams Cantina music, very cool fusion.

Seriously, dude. You seem to be having a bad day or something. It's a bit ridiculous for you to keep disparaging successful artists all day, without often even providing reasoning for your opinions. Anyone can say something isn't good; if you don't provide a decent reason why, then why should anyone read your poorly written judgements?

 

Its ok, neither bad or good. I simply like Ludwigs music better.

 

That claim still lacks a supporting reason. Anyone can say I like this or I like that. Who cares unless you have an interesting reason for your like or dislike?

 

I simply like his music more, like I like kiners more ans willams. Irs about my own taste.
