Wikipedia says 25 for Paul and Wings.

 

Solo means not in a band son.

 

Well we all know that Paul was pretty much the sole creative force in Wings, so... it counts.

 

I know I was just teasing.

 

I know. Still, 25 album is quite the list. Maybe at some point I will dive further into the many I do not know. So many of them, especially in the 80s, really don't seem to be all that good...

 

Truth is I kind of gave up on him after Off the Ground. Then Flaming Pie was great, but I was really disappointed in Driving Rain. But Chaos and Creation got me back for good. That was such a fantastic album. He's been consistently good since then.

 

Yes Flaming Pie is one of the albums I know and like.

Does anyone like Billy Joel? Listening to 52nd Street, my favorite album of his.

 

I liked Uptown Girl - still do.

 

Ha, I was just talking with a friend yesterday about "Zanzibar". In concerts now, Billy updates the line "Rose he knows he such a credit to the game, but the Yankees grab the headlines every time" to "Rose he knows he'll never make the Hall Of Fame...".

 

Zanzibar is my favorite Billy song too. That and Vienna.

 

The Rise of Strilo makes me cackle like Palpatine....

Also, I love Billy Joel. Been a big fan since I was in Jr High school.

Agreed. That's one reason why I placed Storm Front at #1. And why I probably listen to 52nd Street and Turnstiles more than The Stranger.

 

Haven't been able to find this locally so I ordered it off Amazon UK yesterday (along with a few books).

 

I have the Blu Ray of a Gustavo Dudamel tribute to John Williams. Pretty cool!

 

Today I was listening to Cuts Like a Knife by Bryan Adams. Don't hate; it's a great album.

 

I've had my Rock & Pop playlist (~4000 songs) on shuffle for the last few days... heard some stuff I haven't heard in a while.
