    Hey Sithman....I've given you some respect before! You are THE Sith man ;)

    I listen to the Star Wars music constantly...particularly now when other things in my life aren't so good. It doesn't have words to identify with, and I can just get lost in the moods the brilliant John Williams puts together. With a recently lost job and girlfriend, it has helped get me thru these tough times.

    Aw, cheez man, that stinks. :(

    Whenever I'm feeling sad or meloncholyish (lol, is that a word? :D ) I put in the FOTR soundtrack and fire up "The Breaking of the Fellowship". Man, that's some beautiful music there. :)

    No, I don't have it yet. Remember, I live in Slovakia (well, now in Czech Republic, since I'm studying in Prague), and it takes quite a while till the things from USA get here... ;)

    But I loved the FOTR music. It was awesome. Actually, when I first saw the movie and I walked out of the theater, I couldn't remember a single theme of it! The music was so part of the movie that once I didn't have the picture in front of me, I couldn't remember the music. But then, of course, after seeing it three times, I now remember the main themes pretty much. ;) I'm planning to buy the soundtrack soon, though.

    Whoo, that's a long story. ;) No, it's quite simple. I started learning English privately when I was in 2nd grade. Continued all the way till the high school graduation. And more, I spent my sophomore year in USA (New Mexico) as an exchange student. In fact, in USA I fell in love with Star Wars (could you believe that I had no knowledge of SW before that? :eek: ). I think I did have a vague knowledge about it, but it was "just some sci-fi" to me. But then TPM was released, there was this huge fuzz about it, and everyone went to see the movie. So I went to see it also with my host family, and I loved it. I went to see it again with my friend, and then again. :D Of course, I didn't know the exact connections with the OT, and the people tried to explain the things to me. I was confused by all the "oh and he will be his father, you know the little boy" (<- first I understood this as Qui-Gon being Anakin's father. [face_laugh] ) Or there was this series of Pepsi cans for collectors, and if you found Yoda, you'd win. I found one with Darth Maul - "Is this Yoda?" [face_laugh] ::shakes her head:: What a newbie I was... I tried to rent the OT, but no one had it. Only the last day before my departure home, we found it in one Blockbuster's and we rented it. I started watching the whole trilogy (the original version, not SE) at 8 PM and finished at 2:30 AM. :p And the next day I was getting up at 5:00 to catch my plane home. Thus my mania for Star Wars began. :D Now I have all four movies (the latest releases) on the videocassettes, plus some books: The Making of Episode I, Thrawn Trilogy, Truce at Bakura, and Courtship of Princess Leia. I also have the TPM teaser poster and a TESB poster (the one with Han and Leia kissing, Luke on a Taun Taun and big Vader in background). :)

    Cool story Mar17! Hope you enjoyed your stay in our humble little country ;)

    I actually had the double record album of ESB when I was a kid. I remember hearing "The Asteroid Field" in my head as I'd play hockey as an 8-year-old! [face_laugh] Anyone who's read many of my posts in here knows I have a thing with TAF track!

    Hey, everybody! I'm Kizakh, and I like Jethro Tull and Blondie. I think I'll put some change in the ol' jukebox and fire up Tull's "Aqualung." Oh, yeah... that hits the spot. Anyone mind if I play along on my accordion?

    Hey everyone! I have been a regular poster here for a while now. I have posted in the Music forum for months now but I just saw this thread. I check the forum daily so I would consider myself a regular, even if Sithman does not... :p ;)

    OK, Sithy, I put them in... ;) Sorry. That's my everlasting English problem - in Slovak we use "toss" also when putting coins into a machine. :)

    OK, Ameia, we can listen to something else, if you want.... ;)

    // says, "ouch"

    Hey, bartender, hit me with a Double Lightsaber.

    Maybe I should introduce myself. I used to be a semi-regular on the Music forum when I was a regular on the JC, but that was under a different name. Bonus points to anyone who knows where my current username originates from...

    And double bonus points to anyone who knows who I was before.

    No cheating.
