The New Index/FAQ. A question or two.

So far, I've divided the new FAQ and Combolicious Index up into sections. (It'll probably finally be published and stuck up on the boards by the end of the month, with an update when we switch over, which will probably be some time in the middle of next month, or at the end of may.

And just so you know, I was thinking of hosting a html exclusive page off-site.

I'll give you the current contents and an example section to give you an idea of the layout and style.

I'd quite like input and suggestions of what you'd like to see in the FAQ, especially in the first section. And if anyone has some Q/A Constantly Asked Questions specific to each game, that'd be awesome too.

Instead of doing the HTML thing off-site, why not just wait until you're a manager and put all the HTML code in on this site? Seeing as you wouldn't have to pay for it and all.

 

Just an FYI - we're not sure yet if HTML will be enabled for managers and admins at the new site.

Besides, I've got a gig of webspace floating around. So it's just leeching off an already broken bank.
I was thinking of linking to reviews from the likes of IGN, TFN, GameSpy and Gamespot in the games section.

 

Looks great. Where games are modded (X-wing & DF series) link to the main 3rd party sites like df21, massassi, jediknight.nt, xwingupgrade etc).

Also you may be able to do a couple of nifty 'search' links that bring up games forum searches and TFn news searches on the particular keywords.

Also, you need a section on the Games Hall of fame threads - the original ForceBoat, Debo's Mat rags, Balding Ewoks 'board games are roxxors', Preacherboy's 'Raven comments on jp-30's system', Connemara's 'Me and Howlrunner...', etc etc.
