I was really just concerned with this being an index not a challenge/discussion thread - since there are already Obi discussion threads around and they already do a lot of challenges over at the workshop thread. I wouldn't want to repeat what has already been done at the workshop thread as far as challenges either. So, while I appreciate the suggestion, I think unless you have a take on challenges that has never been done before, I'd rather just have it be a story index.

After a bit of thought, I think what I will do is let people post recommendations for Obi-Wan fics by other authors in this thread. So, if you want the story to be added to the index, you still have to send me all the info in the "How to Submit" post, but if you just want to pop in and tell people a little about a great Obi fic you just read (listed here or not), and leave a link to the story, you are more than welcome to do that.

Well you can still recommend them, I would think people would jump at the chance to recommend a good Obi fic but perhaps I'm wrong.

Anyway, I guess I'll post some of mine...

In the Shadow of the Chosen by solojones (well written character study of Obi-Wan based on the movie events )

There are several hilarious fics by Obi the Kid. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to post here much but her fics can be found through the link in her profile and "latest posts".

Listed above, Why couldn't I save him? by JediMaster Jen was very good with a nice twist ending.

It doesn't matter if it is actually written with the JA books in mind, it's just a way for me to break up the time periods. Under the last "Family and Friends" catagory there is a subcatagory for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan stories.
