Hey everyone!

First of all, a HUGE apology for not getting that voting post up when I said I would—it’s been a packed week, with the Word Race and many RL things dominating my brain, and I’m very sorry I let this thread fall to the wayside. So, to take care of that now, here is the list of the three excellent stories submitted for our Fall 2021 Challenge: The Background OC Challenge—Plus!

And because I dropped the ball on scheduling the voting at the right time, I shall give you all two (2) weeks from today to vote. So that’s November 22 at 11:59 pm (23:59) PST. I know you all know the rules about honest voting, socks, etc.

The winner, as usual, will get to devise this thread’s next challenge!

The Weather Challenge!​

With a solstice around the corner whichever hemisphere you live in, what could be a more perfect prompt! As usual, you will have eight (8) weeks to write your stories, which are due January 21, 2022, at 11:59 pm (23:59) PST! After that, we’ll start our usual two-week voting period. That sounds great.
Just one question, does it need to be earth based weather or can it be something more out there? Was thinking about acid rain and other things they have on Eriadu as a result of their environmental collapse.

 

I think something out there or star wars specific would be awesome!
