Sitting alone in the dark in my apartment, writing about a guy sitting alone in his apartment about to open some creepy package, and out of nowhere my phone gets an amber alert.

Yeah, I jumped.

And I think whoever was in Jane's flat has a few very motivated investigator's at his heels. A lover, a friend, an ambitious Sheriff. Good luck!

 

I knew he was hiding something, I just figured it was most likely a criminal record.
Looks like I was in the ballpark, just on the wrong team.

I wonder how far James can push this competition in the towns favor.

 

I bet the beach will be where the horror comes into play. The scene is too nice to end in anything but terror!

And poor James. Whatever it is about the observatory seems to be important enough to abduct Jane Masters.

Is this game still open to join? I must say I love a good horror RP. And it is an amazing read so far @SirakRomar.

Big apologies for my absence, been having computer issues and the forums aren't exactly mobile friendly. Everything seems to be resolved, catching up now.

 

Okay, that sound is kind of unnerving to read. I wonder if it drives people to kill relatives. As it is obviously connected to the book (books if we count in the second one Miles has).

I also predict Collins going up to the observatory at night will turn out to be a bad idea.

Amazing, we are almost at post 200 and still no idea what the horror is ... but enjoying it greatly nonetheless.

 

Maybe the anticipation is the horror.

 

Oh, I think looking at the stars is a bad sign in this game ...

And not joking ... anticipation of something happening is a horror itself. I start seeing signs of something happening in every update now

 

I have a bad feeling about this.
I don't suppose anyone has parenting advise for standing outside in their underwear staring at the stars?
There has to be a lesson in there somewhere.

 

Well, the usual stuff. Call an Excorcist, the FBI guys working on alien abduction (not my guy ... the Mulder guy) and otherwise leave it all to your wife pretending you are busy

 

My bet is on John and the flat. I think it is the only scene not obviously screaming HORROR! So it will happen there.

Lurking the game as I will probably join in the next chapter and God I love all those characters!

 

Dark flat at night. Woman vanished there mysteriously. I so totally thought the same My guy doesn't even carry a gun!

Ok, this kid is starting to give me the creeps.

 

He is creepy. Not as creepy as your dreams, though. I could make an educated guess what kind of horror we are facing by now.

 

Definitely surprised that scream wasn't the result of something more sinister on the beach. Stupid Robert...
