I was at the theatre yesterday (the Kings in Glasgow to be precise :p ) seeing The Odd Couple. Don't suppose anyone else here saw it, but it was very good. Andy Gray and Gerard Kelly (Glasgow's pantomime gods) were Oscar and Felix.

I saw posters for some Rocky Horror Show 30th anniversary thing - anyone know when it's on?

Andy Gray - not the Sky Sports 1 football pundit. That would rock! :D

Rocky Horror Show - //slips suspenders on and dances to the Time Warp... :p

Gerard Kelly has appeared in a touring production of 'The Odd Couple' before - with Craig Ferguson. Yes, Craig Ferguson played the East Kilbride Village Theatre as the Matthau character. This is, of course, before he did an Alan Cumming (or did Alan Cumming do a Craig Ferguson?), got a six-pack, went to America and started appearing in sitcoms as English characters with accents that veered wildly from Somerset to Dudley, Blackpool, Sarf London then into Wales in the space of one line of dialogue.
Kelly was the better stage performer. He's the better actor overall I'd say. Andy Gray, Chancer to Kelly's Willie Melvin in 'hit' comedy series 'City Lights' is a good tragi-clown. Craig Ferguson is salvaged only by the fact that he was Bing "I used to be Peter Capaldi's Character, Me" Hitler.

We might be going to see Rocky Horror in Glasgow this Saturday !
Its on at the Kings, with a matinee show at 6pm, so it might just suit the meet-up crew :D

    edit:
oh, I've already said that.... [face_blush]

I'm losing the plot maintaining all these meet-up threads and PM conversations, really I am [face_laugh]
