Art Archive The Official DVD Fan Covers Thread

If anybody wants some really good ideas to play around with, I have an entire documented layout. Chapters, Menu Ideas, the whole thing.

I tried my hand before at this and it was okay. I can create in my mind just not artistically. PM for details.

 

I took Darth_Numanus custom ROTJ dvd cover and tweaked it a bit. by the way, great job Darth_Numanus!

* painted glove over lukes right hand
* adjusted palpatines face colors
* removed vaders hand
* fixed lightsaber glow
* made a slight color adjustment all over the cover
* fixed lukes arm position

 

lol theres almost no diference. how do u like my clone wars one? I hate my rots cover, I like the back, the disks, the papers, the menues, but I literaly hate my cover. I really like what I did with clone wars.

If anyone wants to add a lens flare, you can do it. I'd appreciate it.

 

Photoshop does yes come with a manuel, also, a quick google will give you about 2,580,000 pages of tuts for it.

Other than photoshop is there any other way to make covers?(Preferably free)

I've heard that there's a program called the GIMP which might. I don't have it so i don't know what i can do or where to find it, but i do know that its free. i suggest google-ing it to find out more.


if anyone has any more Kashyyyk menus like fireman's Mustafar ones, i'd be happy to do another animation of them like i did for Mustafar.

What kind of music would work best for the Kashyyyk menus, Talonias? There really isn't a lengthy Kashyyyk theme.

 

How about the droids theme from TPM coz it was used in that scene on kashyyk in ROTS when the droids attack.
