OK this was very hard...

My two covers are:

Darth Numanus's AOTC one
and
Darth-Harmon's purple ROTS one.

 

I dont thing Best Movie Ever made any of those ones under his name. I sugget you take his name off

Therefor he didnt make any, so he is on there for other peoples artwork. He posted that on page 3 of this forrum.

 

You're right, jedi_master_faran, Best_Movie_Ever didn't make those himself, some of my artwork is among it too.

I like Darth_Numanus' work the best. Darth_Harmon has some great work as well, especially the purple covers. Another one I like is the concept art cover by lrd_monarch. It could use some better compositing, but I like the idea. Great work to you all!

I guess I can pick only one member, so my vote goes to Dart_Numanus!

I hope you can take this as contructive critism from somone who has some experience in the designing business, so don't think I am bashing your work or something.

You've put a ground in your cover for the characters to stand on. That's okay of course, but
the ground seems to stretch away in the depth, you can see that by the lines on it. Yet the characters don't match this perspective. The ones in the back are much bigger than the characters on the foreground. It's all just a bit off.

What I would do, is take out the ground, and keep the duel between Darth Vader and that other guy on the bottom of the cover, and center the characters around them, like they did on the ROTS DVD cover. Play around a bit with mirroring the images, and the distance between the characters.

Again, I think this is a good cover, but could use some more tweaking. I really like the Death Star in the top though, and the pink/orange'ish cover is very cool. That really adds to the cover. It gives it something very fairytale/myth like feeling...I dunno...but it's cool!

I know this may seem off topic, but, I have seen the work you guys have done here, and it is magnificent.

OK, I'll cut to the chase. I am writing a fanfic, well, three, and I need somebody to design either DVD, or book covers for my fanfic's.

The first one is well on it's way, the link is in my bio.

Heres the hitch. The characters arent actual Star Wars folk, which is why I need the help, I need a master of photoshop to help me.

I like that Balance of the Force cover a lot, Ellbobin! It definetly looks more 'epic' than the original TPM DVD cover.
