Well Luke is very similar to most fan depictions of gray jedi. Using emotions to use the force, and using it for good. In all three movies he is driven by emotion, rather than a sense of duty. There is also a theory that Luke used the dark side on death star to destroy it.

Well, seems management here is on some extended vacation or what not. *begins to sweep stairs of Grey Jedi Temple* Need to do some cleaning before we get the Brazier of Eternal Flame rekindled. ( yes, there is a good amount of irony there )

 

Mercy is not weakness, and brutality can have purpose. I wish to join the likes of these enigmatic Gray Jedi. (pwweease)

The gray path is not easliy codified. Peace is internal, elusive and passion is necessary, but must be harnassed. Victory can look like defeat, and power can be a weakness. Knowledge can be blinding, and too much can be burdensome. There must be balance no matter the cost.

The Jedi are obsessed with their image of peace.
The Sith are paralyzed by their lust for power.
Both factions are limited in their views of the force.

Gray Jedi operate within the realms of both the Jedi and the Sith but remain outside of their confines.

With your permission, I'de like to join the ranks of those who understand the Force like i do. To be part of a brotherhood, knights and assassins alike.

I do not know if I am worthy of it, though I will dedicate my every effort to being so. Doubts fill my heart, and my eyes do not see what others claim to see. Yet something calls me here, a calling I have felt for some time. I have questions, and I believe my ears are ready to hear.

Peace within denotes peace without. Outside as it's Inside.

Victory can indeed look like defeat. Actuality and perception are not always the same.

I'd like you to expound on how power can be a weakness.

Knowledge blinds when it is not balanced by wisdom and understanding.

Anything can become a burden when the weight is not shared.

Is balance at any cost still considered balance? This is worth exploring.

Of course, you may approach. Questions exist so they might be answered.

Reality and the perception of it are not always the same. This i found to be true.

Power can be a weakness, especially when its misdirected and cloaked in arrogance. An outmatched starfighter can bring a Death Star to it's knees..
Shouldn't power be seen as a tool? Not an achievement?

Your Death Star example is an excellent one. We have seen the like repeat itself many times. One can hope that the lesson is learned, at least by some.

Sinrebirth Wouldn't you agree that perception is partial truth? rather than an outward lie, the same applies to anticipation I would think. These should be treated as guides, strong possibilities, probabilities.

To be forwarned is indeed to be forearmed, and always with great care.

To paraphrase what the 'Ancient One' said; I see possibility in our future.

Well, it does seem like we'll be having a resurgence of the Grey Jedi Order after all. We are still refining some much needed details, but progress is being made. Can't wait for re-launch.

Anyone who is interested, feel free to make your presence known by posting here, if you are so inclined. Well wishers are also welcomed. We're just glad that it will come to pass.
