Yeah, the Florida Inventory of School Houses is a very useful tool. I wish it was more easily accessible, though: I shouldn't have to use text commands to access a database in the year 2020 AD.
Did I hear someone say fish, cause I’ve got fish for you guys. Such as this handsome fellow. ( Image ripped from Wikipedia because I’m lazy.) This is the Bowfin, otherwise known as the Dogfish ( I’ve never seen the resemblance personally but whatever ). They are a carnivorous tube of muscle and teeth found in the Eastern US and Canada. They aren’t held in particularly high regard which is a shame on account of how Bad*** these things are. Anyone who has caught or handled one can attest to how strong they are but they also can gulp air from the surface to survive in poorly oxygenated water that would kill many other species. Bowfin are also surprisingly attentive parents, (The also develop a pretty bright green coloration on their bellies during spawning season.) who build nests, the males guard the fry after they hatch until they are large enough to make it on their own. Bowfin are also living fossils, like a Coelacanth with exceptionally poor PR, the last surviving species of an order dating back to the time of the dinosaurs, and they haven’t changed much. So yeah, fish, they’re pretty cool.
