I can be a very lonely person...

My wife does not care for SW...and my daugther is not ready.

And all my friends are not that big a SW fan.

 

Good morning all!
Wife is 7 weeks preg now. Everything is going good.
She reminded me of her asking to be put in a mental institution if she ever did this again...
She also swears it must be a boy due to all the gas she has.
And it must be my child because it HATES broccoli.
My wife and daughter love broccoli. (not me!) We have it growing in the garden. I brought some in yesterday for them to have with dinner, and she ran out of the room. She couldn't stay in the house with the smell.
We opened all the windows and lit candles and went out for a few hours.

She was this gassy before, but didn't have any aversions before.

Her cravings before were fruits and fish sandwiches.
Now it's hamburgers, chicken and salty things...
Maybe it is a boy?

 

Hey Gimer, congrats on your wife's pregnancy. My wife is on #2 as well, due in February.

We have an 8 month old son as well. With this child, we ARE going to find out the sex - we let the first one be a surprise. I'm guessing it's another boy... Need to find some names....I was thinking about "Luke". LOL

 

Morning Warders. It's monday and I don't want to be at work. atleast it's only a 4 day work week and TTT hits DVD tomorrow

 

I go on vacation next week!!!!!

I'm going to do some shark fishing! Should be cool.

And I'll definately be buying TTT when it comes out.

 

Zen what do you mean your going shark fishing?

 

I mean I'm going out on a friend's boat, and we're going hunting for shark...most likely blue shark. It's a lot of fun - and usually involves a lot of unhealthy sanwiches and a few beers - maybe even a cigar if we get really bad. Cigars always make me feel awful the next day, though.

 

Your not planning to kill the shark are you?

BTW J_Sat, while NJO & KOP are around, your never alone. Oh that reminds me, I have to go to NJ tomorrow night to get my helmet, wanna see it? I have to pass through your town to get to my parent's house.

 

congrats to you to Zen. We want to know too. We have another ultrasound tomorrow to check on how it all is going, since they want to be careful after the miscarriage last year.

and Ada, I believe we are planning on being done after this one. Two will be enough. I'll probably get tied after it is born.

I'm hoping everything will keep going fine like it is now. My wife suffers from depression, and the miscarriage took her a while to recover, even though she was not very far along yet.

With our DisneyWorld trip coming up in October, she'll be just 12 weeks which is the normal 'safe' time.
She shouldn't be nautious anymore, and should feel more energetic by then.

I hope nothing happens before then or while we are down there. It would ruin a trip that we are all so looking forward to. Who knows when we will be able to go again, with Megan starting kindergarten next year, and another little one around using the vacation fund as a diaper fund instead...

Yeah, they're really good to eat - tastes a lot like swordfish. We only take one, though - since it's enough to feed a lot of people.

That's only one day of my vaction, though. The rest I plan to spend on the beach playing with my neice and introducing my 8 month old to the ocean.
