Actually, if you check the EC it says 18 - 0 BBY...so it can fit anytime really. And since it WORKS at 1.5 years BBY and doesnt work at all at 5 BBY, thats where it goes.

Where was it placed in the droids timeline in Dan Wallace's threepio doll book?

"Where was it placed in the droids timeline in Dan Wallace's threepio doll book?"

It was open ended, though Governor Wena was the next master after Mungo Baobab, and the mistress from The Protocol Offensive was presumably right before Captain Antilles and the House of Alderaan. So...it wasnt that long before A New Hope. 2 years tops, and definately after the Corellian Treaty.

This has all been covered in first few pages of the TimeTales thread. Check it out for more explanation. Also, the SW.com databanks have it before the new Droids comics, which are easily datable.

Just dropping into here in order to mention that a goodly portion of this information -- the political data, large-scale events, et al -- are going into the upcoming Clone Wars dossier project that Sturm (Admin Extraordinaire! ...now where's my $100.00?? [face_plain]) mentioned earlier.

All of this is putting meat on the bones of this particular era in SW history, and its nifty-keen to see. Don't know exactly who the writers are, but they know their crap (and craft), and the treatise is going to be all the better for it.

Getting back to the HoloNetNews update, does the article discussed on the last page mean that the next update will report on events taking place during TAS?

I didn't think it was that good this week compared with previous issues. I like it when they have more EU stuff involved, everything this week is pretty inconsequential.

Although I did like the actor height argument thing, they love the JC Lit forum!

If there are further reports related to TAS, then it can firmly lock down the date of the novel, making TimeTales quite happy.

Be calm, folks... probably will not be around until around 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific, roughly when it was last week.

I'm anxious too, to see if they continue to tie down the dates for TAS, plus feeding us more kibble for Episode II. But all in good time.

    TimeTales, listen up!

    Dates confirmed!

417 Years Ago -- The Ithorian Spore crisis begins.
166 Years Ago -- The Treaty of Vors signed

123 Years Ago -- The Third General Survey begins to explore the spiral arms

48 Years Ago -- The Kira Run is discovered, connecting the Lazerian and Ropagi systems.

Also, Monastary is mentioned. Remember, Domina Tagge used this planet during the Galactic Civil War.

    Wraith Squadron reference:

SBI Officer warns of conspiracy - the officer is Vyn Narcassan.

    From the unofficial encyclopedia:

    Narcassan, Vyn
this dark-skinned man was a member of the Old Republic's Intelligence agency. One of the agency's older agents, Narcassan was smart enough to engineer his own disappearance when Emperor Palpatine rose to power. No one ever found him. Myn Donos believed that Narcassan was, in fact, Shalla Nelprin's father, but this was never proven. (SOC)

Is the Ithorian Spore crisis a GOF reference? I haven't read #9, so I wouldn't know.

Hologram Fun World got a mention, LOL. More on Screed. And having Simon Grayshade as the senator for Vorzyd is just genius. :)

    Yes it is Talon.

"I think separation is very, like, traumatic. When it happens to families, it's sad. But when it happens to an entire galaxy, which has millions of families, it's even sadder."

    Classic. :D

Yes, it's a reference to the Spore monster. It took a hundred years to finally defeat the guy, Ithorians and Jedi combined.
