..the closer we get to this title's release, the more excited i become.

This comic is actually the final nail in the coffin of getting me to reopen my pull-list at my local comicbook store. (I needed 5-titles in order to be allowed to apply for a pull-list, this book is No. 5). This book, along with the KOTOR comic and the upcoming Stephen King "Dark Tower" project..

It's an exciting time to be into comics!

Thoughts on the cover:

Assumed-Vong, Maulette, and Figure Three. All with red lightsabers, Maulette and Figure Three appear to have Sith eyes. One of them is wielding two lightsabers, but it's impossible to tell which one. Assumed-Vong's lightsaber looks like it might be organic.

Figure Three just looks odd to me, and not in a good way. I like the way the other two are drawn, though.

The Twi'lek has very long headtails. Longer than Aayla's, they're past her butt.

 

figure 3 looks kinda Nagai-ish.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say the third guy's a Nagai.

 

Figure 3 really looks to be in a 2-lightsaber stance, I'm pretty positive the second saber is his.

 

WOW, I cant wait, cant wait. The cover is really magnific, the Dark Yuzzie, and the Twilek Maul, wow.

 

I don't know. The angle is right for the Vong to be holding two sabers straight out and seems a little strained for the third figure. Maybe Figure Three is just pinching the Twi'lek's butt.

 

Either that or he's doing something he shouldn't to Maulette...

 

I guess he is, Jan said the YV has two sabers!

My mind is now officially blown.

I know very little about the coming Legacy comic other than its in the future and the main character is a descendant of Luke Skywalker. I've seen a few images of the coming book and it just doesn't look interesting at all. The characters look corny and cartoony. The villain looks just as silly. Is this Star Wars or is it costume dark fantasy. Cade looks like a ragged han solo, and not as cool.

I'm really suprised that DH has not been able to put together a post ROTJ or NJO series. I'd be first in line to read that.

 

The2ndQuest, I'm not sure X-wing and crimson Empire filled the want or need for a comic book series featuring the heroes of the OT. Not to mention mini-series of the Zahn novels. Cool? Yes. Original? No.

Why has there not been an ongoing series featuring our favorite OT heroes? Is there no demand?

My real point was that, as a SW fan, Legacy looks dumb. Why go there?

 

Not to mention Marvel, which focused solely on the OT characters and is still the longest-running Star Wars comic.

 

Cade's Vader-esque pants just kiled his originality.

That, and Obi-Wan's TPM Saber.

And Han's Blastech.

And the fact that the E-11s are around for over 100 years.
