Oh just remembered about something else to do on the Saturday, sincre we might be going to the Museum Of Science And Industry In Manchester why not have a side trip to the old Roman fort thats right by the museum

It's all in Castlefield which is a short walk from the hotel

Sie, Leigh & Lord O- what time will you be at Darlo station tomorrow? I can be there for 6pm, but I want to know what time you'll be there (in case I can get to the station any earlier)

 

Me and Leigh should get into Darlo station by 5.30.

I haven't got a clue, tbh. Us from the NE will be arriving about 7-8 o clockish. If you guys are all together by then, we can give you a ring and arrange to meet somewhere.

 

alright, there are three people who have my phone no. may one of these proclaim a meeting point/time and please text it to me tomorrowish in the vain hope that i shall make it there and embrace them as the official manc welcome comittee (sp?).

everything else i suppose is more or less secondary. i don't think we have decided on a dinner place and such... so i'm looking forward to that debate already

tim made some nice suggestions already and i haven't been to wagamama so far so i guess we can sort that out in a relatively short amount of time (just under 2 hrs?).

 

Cozmic and I have also discussed some eating locations. Friday, I'm not too fussed, as long as we get a bite to eat fairly quickly. Saturday we can spend our time choosing where to go

 

I'll be getting to the hotel more likely at 9pm (as long as I can get on the 7:30pm train).

If we do Trafford Centre in the early afternoon to early evening, and people want to do things like FP / Travelling Man / city centre Sat morning, not sure time wise the Science Museum is possible, and tbh it needs to be a group decision, unless people split off. That Roman fort is reconstructed, it's not the original material ( http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/ewm/001ewm/047_castlefield/16.html ). I pass it every time I come to Manchester on the train lol. Also depends when people can get out of bed, I am up early anyways, but then we have the prob if some lazy/hung over people are left snoozing in hotel, they won't know where to come.

I personally am fine with a cheaper meal on Friday if people prefer, Wagamama's is middle range in pricing- either way, once I have dumped my stuff, I will need food, since last I'll have eat will be lunch time. If we plan on having the big eaten out on Sat, when we have more time, we can go cheaper. And eat all u can chinese would be cheaper if I could locate it I won't try this time, sure the place moved as we rounded corners lol.
