    Fair enough: If you don’t like your current employment situation or rules then you are free to quit and find another job. Does this apply to everyone though? People who are dissatisfied in any line of work would also fall into the "just go get another job" bucket too, right? The NFL will do what it thinks it’s best for its bottom line as they always do.

    Yes. If you don't like any rules your employer has, you can quit. This has always been the case. It shouldn't be any different with vaccine mandates.

    Matt Rhule’s stance is not an anti-science ***hole stance thank goodness but I hope he takes a harder line than this soon.

    @QUIGONMIKE is trying to trick you into an anti-union, anti-minimum wage, anti-being treated decently by your employer stance. It’s both off topic for this thread and not worth falling for.

    Very different from thinking (general) you are entitled to risk the health of your teammates and the players on the other team in a high-contact sport due to “But I don’t wanna!” syndrome around the vaccine.

    The vaccine rules and reaction to them are no different from players taking a “But I don’t wanna!” stance around having to wear specific helmets. Ask Antonio Brown.

    …except that Brown was actually not affecting anyone else by wanting to wear a different helmet. So the anti-vaxxers are far worse in childishness and selfishness.

    Covid misinformation and conspiracy theories are not allowed on this site. If you cannot post proof of your allegations from an accredited epidemiologist, it is considered misinformation. Epidemiology and virology are not subject to opinion.

    Football is a game and career that requires discipline, an awareness of specialization, and a commitment to working towards the betterment of the larger group. All three are easily turned to something like group vaccination if leadership (real leadership) pursues it.

    …Of course, if leadership doesn’t pursue it, or if real leadership is lacking, than all three traits will remain impotent on the group level.

    Discussing covid here is a horrible idea. Just don’t bother. For best results. ;).

    @anakinfansince1983 - I’m not trying to trick anyone. It’s just extremely ironic that mandating vaccines at workplaces is suddenly causing the gallery to shout "if you don’t like it then just go get another job!" However, when this phrase is used for those that "feel" they are underpaid or don’t like their job then it’s suddenly "mean" and the company should bend over backwards to satisfy them. Huge double standard. Employment was, is, and always will be a voluntary thing between a company and the employee. Both are free to end the relationship at any time if they feel it benefits them to do so so. It’s a simple concept.
