OOC: I am resurrecting this thread so that I may give @Kaleesh-Cyborg his final trial for the Knights of Darkness.

Apprentice, the rules are simple. You will awaken in a jungle. The planet and all information about in will be unaware to you.

In the Jungle, I am waiting, but I will not be idle. You are to hunt me, and fight me. The first to yield, be incapacitated or die, loses.

You have 7 days to complete thus trial. Every post you make removes 1 hour from the clock. You need to finish this before we hit zero.

If you fail this trial, well, don't fail.

    You have only your lightsaber(s).

    Happy hunting!

    Darth Hades

    Unknown Jungle

Hades smirked as he walked through the Jungle. This was perfect.

He knew the cyborg would have challenges in these conditions whereas Hades and grown up alone in the jungles.

He could feel life all around him, and most of it was deadlyin one way or another.

He chose a tree where his vantage point was nearly concealed comety by vines and made his way to the limb where he would wait.

The hunt was about to begin.

    IC- Grievance Vexx
Final Trial - It's A Jungle Out There

The sound of exotic birds calling to each other filters through the dark silence of oblivion that had submerged Grievance in unconsciousness. The last thing he can remember is his master telling him it was time for his final trial. He remembers a brief--very brief--wave of excitement and anxiety washing over him before blackness had swallowed him up. Grievance Vexx certainly is not the fainting type, so he readily accepts the idea that his unconscious state must have been induced through the Force.

Opening his eyes with a soft growl, he takes a moment to absorb his surroundings. Thick foliage hangs over him, the sun dappling the ground through every opening it can find. The climate is uncomfortably warm and humid; a climate he is familiar with as it makes up a portion of similar terrain on his homeworld. Though his senses are on high alert and absorbing the surroundings, his mind is focused on one thing: where is Darth Hades? If he is to conduct this final trial, surely he is present somewhere.

Slowly rising, the cyborg stays still and listens, trying to pick up other sounds amid the noisy raucous of the birds scolding each other in the trees. The trial had been said to come in the form of a duel, yet here he is in a jungle. Alone. His mind is immediately trying to figure this out. What is expected of him? What course of action or series of choices will deem him worthy to step to the next level of knighthood?

He stalks forward, taking slow, deliberate steps, unblinking eyes constantly shifting and ever vigilant. His master must be here somewhere and if there is one thing he has learned about the Sith, it is the unspoken rule of survival of the fittest. There is no mercy and no matter how much he respects his master, respect is a far cry from trust. Though he is only just starting to learn to use his legs in the Force, he tentatively taps into it, relying on it to confirm his suspicions. It takes a few moments for him to decipher what is coming back to him. A signature, faint but experienced as though the owner has put out just enough to confirm that he is there somewhere.

"I know you are here, Master," he says softly, "I will find you and it shall be established whether or not I am worthy to move up in the ranks."

He moves on, his footsteps silent despite the three-hundred-fifty pounds rising on each one he takes. Carefully, he sends the Force out a little further, trying to gain better understanding of his surroundings and simultaneously reveal where his master is hiding.

    Welcome to the Jungle

Hades watched his apprentice creep forward. It was amusing to watch him move cautiously.

Hades silently dropped from his hiding place as darkness swallowed the Jungle.

    Now the fun truly began.

Hades pressed a button on a gauntlet on his wrist. As he did, five BX-series droid commandos came to life. Hades spoke into the gauntlet.

"Find the cyborg, engage him, hold nothing back."

All five drew vibroblades and took off towards Vexx.

Final Trial - Going Commando (Droid, That Is)

Judging by the sudden descent of darkness, Grievance absently concludes that he had been dropped here fairly late in the day. The night has never bothered him. In fact, he almost feels more comfortable under the cover of darkness. His reptilian eyes are equipped for night vision anyway; what has he to worry about?

He freezes in mid-stride as a sound of a low frequency reaches him through the clamor of the jungle creatures squabbling over sleeping places. Not a natural sound, but one that has an electronic feel to it. His glowing golden eyes narrow as he draws two of his lightsabers and he turns toward the direction the sound is coming from.

In a flash, one after the other five commando droids burst from the foliage, their weapons being the source of the sound Vexx had heard. The droids fan out to encircle him and the cyborg lowers his stance defensively, but he will not wait for them to strike first. That is a tactic that works when he is faced with one or two enemies, but with five, it is not a wise strategy.

Quickly splitting his two arms into four, he draws his remaining two lightsabers, setting two to spin rapidly at his sides angled slightly upward defensively while the other two are held stationary in front of him, ready to deliver punishment primarily in the form of Jar-Kai. He aims a backhanded strike at two droids to the left followed by another strike aimed at the two to the right while the one at the center will bear the brunt of a frontal assault in the amount of time it takes the other four do what they must to either recover...or not.

    Rumble in the Jungle

As Vexx moved to not only defend himself but to go on the offensive, the Commando droids barely paused to analyze the sitaution. They had been programmed to work against some of the best fighters the galaxy had seen during the Clone Wars and quickly adapted to situations.

The two to the left dive in opposite directions, rolling and coming back up, the two to the right do the same diving manuever, putting distant from Vexx and splitting his attention.

The one in the center was hit, and as it happened, it exploded in a cloud of shrapnel. The remaining four then attack, two from the front and rear on the left and two from the front and rear on the right. The one one the left front swings high, while the one to the rear stabs at the cyborgs back. The ones to the right go in similar fashing. The one on the front right also swings high, while the one to the rear swings low.

Hades wasn't very impressed yet, and this was only stage one.

    Roughing Up Robots

Though not as effective as he had hoped his offense would be, at least he has disposed of one of these nuisances. It's not enough though. There are still four of them to deal with and Grievance isn't fond of droids anymore than his father was. Aware that he is surrounded, he keeps two of his blades spinning to protect himself. He keeps the two on the left at bay, raising the spinning blade to block the stab for his back, a resounding "THWANG!" announcing the disarming of that particular droid, its vibroblade having gotten caught in the momentum of his spinning lightsaber. Immediately after, he blocks the high swing from the front with his other lightsaber, locking his blade against the droid's while he shifts his attention to his attackers on the right.

Though he has little experience with he Force as of yet, he swiftly extends his hand, still clutching his weapon, and sends a Force-push toward the droid in front while simultaneously striking out at the one behind him with his talons, hoping to catch hold of it by its torso and fling it into the trees. He then converts the Force-push into a pull, trying to draw the front right droid back toward him and straight into his blade.

Still mindful of the droid he has disarmed, he thrusts his left spinning blade back toward it with the intent of chopping it apart. All the while, he keeps his weight bearing down on the lock with the left front droid, preventing it from moving to try another attack. If he can cut down the others, taking this one's head off will be easy.

Let the Droids hit the Floor

Hades watched as each of the droids were dismantled and destroyed by his apprentice. The display was impressive. Vexx was now ready for the next stage.

Hades burst from the foliage. His speed in the dark was like that of a jungle cat. He did not ignte his lightsabers, he barely paused whilst moving. He focused the Force on his apprentice and twisted at one of the cyborgs arms, hoping to mangle it beyond use.

It might seem cruel to do so, but Hades had had several failures as a Master. He wanted to vent his frustrations as well as make sure his chosen apprentice was indeed ready to move on. There was no mercy among the Sith, and this, his apprentices final trial, was to use the fire of the Sith to forge the next weapon that would advance them. he had to be sure Vexx was able to handle anything.

    Grievance Vexx
Final Trial - A Twist of Fate

Easily dispatching two of four droids by his brute strength alone, Grievance's fire for combat is further stoked when his Force push and subsequent pull effectively brings the third droid straight into his vertically held lightsaber, slicing that assailant in two. He then swiftly decapitates the last droid with the same lightsaber and delivers a savage kick to the body before it has time to drop to the ground.

Without even wondering, Grievance knows this is not the end of his trial. Though a substantial challenge, it is not enough. As soon as the last droid hits the ground as scrap metal, he interlocks his arms again and backs toward a rock wall, being mindful to let no one sneak up on him from behind. Rotating two of his lightsabers slowly, his eyes shift warily to and fro. He catches movement out of the corner of his eye. It is but a shadow, silent and swift like that of a bird of prey swooping overhead. He barely has time to rationalize whether he had truly seen anything at all when his right arm is suddenly seized in a vise-like grip.

Still clutching his lightsabers, he turns to hack apart whomever is twisting his arm--and stops just short of amputating said arm. There is literally nothing there to be attacked, but his mind is quick to grasp that it is the Force being manipulated to cause him an injury he cannot afford to have. A brief burst of panic surges through him as instinct takes hold and he starts to react physically, but logic catches up with him and he remembers what he has so recently learned; that a fight against the Force using only physical strength is futile. Though it is difficult to curb his reflexes, especially since his upgraded armor enables him to experience physical pain as though he were completely flesh and blood, he holds his ground and remains on his feet despite the intensity of the grip being enough to bring him to his knees.

A growl of defiance against the pressure and the pain therein; he can sense the aggression behind it. Aggression toward past failures that were not his own. Grievance Vexx will be cursed to hell if he serves as
anyone's whipping boy. He can feel someone watching him, but he has no idea where that someone is hiding. Though it is still uncharted territory to him, he reaches for his own power, searching his very soul for a way to combat this invisible attack. He can see the grip in his mind's eye; a vise clamped tightly on his forearm, twisting and growing tighter still; the metal of his appendage groans in protest as it is pulled into an unnatural position. He then visualizes his durasteel arm being too strong to be twisted any further and without warning, he sends out a single Force-wave that rolls out in all directions in an attempt to disrupt his assailant and break that person's concentration. It's a long shot for one yet so inexperienced with the Force, but it just might give him back some ground.

    Twist and Shout

The Force Wave took Hades by surprise, but it was nothing he couldn't handle.

He decided it was time to stand in full view of Vexx and give him some hard earned lessons.

He dropped from the shadows and landed just out of his apprentices reach.

The crucible will only get hotter from here Vexx. You can turn and leave. You can go and no one would blame you.

Then Hades ignited one of his sabers.

But if you stay, you will die.

    Grievance Vexx
Final Trial - All Fight, No Flight

A low growl is all the greeting Darth Hades receives upon revealing himself. Grievance doesn't even flinch. He merely rolls his shoulder to reset the joint and takes up a defensive stance, eyes fixed unblinking on his master, not with defiance, but with firm resolve. He will not walk away from this.

"With all due respect, master, you cannot know me very well if you think your suggestion even tempts me in the slightest to forfeit," he replies, stepping back with a Makashi flourish, "It will take more than a threat of death to put me to flight and I will not disgrace you or myself with such cowardice. I would rather perish in the fire than to live the rest of my life wondering if I might have emerged victorious."

With two sabers ignited, he stands at the ready, waiting for Hades to initiate whatever is to come. He has waited a long time for this chance to duel a Sith Lord in hand-to-hand combat. The jungle surroundings create closer quarters than he would prefer, but it does not dampen his desire for this test of his skill.

    Big Trouble in Little Jungle

Hades grinned as he dashed forward. His movements were controlled and fast, enhanced by the Force to make him formidable. He was an excellent duelist, using Ataru, Juyo, and Jar'Kai in deadly combination. He hadn't touched his second lightsaber yet, and he wouldn't need to, at least not for a whle.

As Hades sped towards Vexx, he brought his lightsaber in a low right to high left slash. Vexx was a cyborg, and though he was an excellent fighter himself, Hades wondered if all that metal didn't make his reactions slower than a normal fighter.

    Grievance Vexx
Final Trial - Fire and Steel

Admittedly unfamiliar with the fighting styles of Hades, Grievance doesn't know what to expect once he has declared his intentions to see this through. He is reassured quickly though that to fall back on an ultimately defensive lightsaber form had not been the worst decision he could have made. He is pleased by this reassurance not only because it gives him an advantage, but because he truly enjoys utilizing this form. As a large and brutishly built character, one might think Makashi to be awkward for him, but it is as natural as breathing to the Kaleesh cyborg and his rigorously trained reflexes simply take over.

As Hades comes at him with a move meant either to kill or to dismember, he fluidly backs out of range and to the side in two strides that seamlessly flow in one motion, following the attack with a counter by jabbing low as Hades' slash travels high. He has never leaned on the Force to enhance his abilities before, but something draws him to experiment. On his own, he is remarkably fast despite his large stature and metal body. Tentatively drawing on the Force just a little, he follows up the jab with a swift sidestep to the right and attempts to land an equally swift strike to Hades' exposed side.

It feels like fire that spreads from his core to his limbs of steel in a sudden burst. The speed is enough to leave him mentally struggling to catch up with it. So this is what he has been passing up all this time; speed that far surpasses even his state-of-the-art engineering and design. The ease and fluidity is powerfully addicting. He is unaware as to whether either of his counterstrikes had made contact or not and almost loses his focus altogether in light of his astonishment. Almost. He gathers his wits about him quickly, remembering that he is dueling a Sith Lord, not some random apprentice thinking they have what it takes to give him a good schooling. Centering his focus on Hades once again, he remains on the defensive, anticipating the Zabrak's next move.

OOC- Understood. Thank you for the heads-up.

    Rockem' Sockem' Robot Rumble

Hades blocked both strikes Vexx aimed at him. It was simple to do.

He could have easily just avoided the strikes, but this was all part of the game Hades was playing.

"You are growing in skill, my apprentice, I am impressed, but only slightly."

Hades deactivated his lightsaber and dashed back into the Jungle, as he did, he pressed a button on the wrist mounted datapad.

Within seconds, a skittering noise could be heard.

A large spider came into the small area where the two Sith had made brief contact. To Vexx, it would look very familiar.

Behind that spider several smaller ones crawled amongst the trees and vines.

The largest, in the lead, spat acidic venom at Vexx.

"Do you recognize your pet, Apprentice? Sith Alchemy is a wonderful tool!"

    Grievance Vexx
    Final Trial - Arachnophobia

Grievance growls slightly as his counterstrikes are blocked, but he is undeterred. He finds further respect for an opponent who will sooner meet his strikes than attempt to avoid them. Of course, he is disappointed when Hades withdraws from the duel altogether to turn the cyborg's attention elsewhere. This is just taunting, getting him all psyched to engage in lightsaber combat and then fleeing after only a few exchanges. Grievance lives to fight this way and perhaps Hades knows this and it is something he can pick at just to aggravate him.

He says nothing in response to his master acknowledging that his skill is impressive, if only a little. Watching the Zabrak disappear into the jungle, he moves into a more defensive posture, fully expecting to be met with something; another round of droids perhaps. What emerges from the jungle is certainly not anything he could have ever expected though.

"Sputnik?" he squints at the massive spider coming rapidly toward him with obvious aggression. Anger ignites his heart. How dare they meddle with his creepy little companion! Of course, he has little time to reflect on his anger as Sputnik aims a stream of venom at him.

With lightning fast reflexes, Grievance springs from where he stands and attaches himself to the trunk of a massive tree, hanging sideways from his talons as he looks down upon his mutated pet. He cannot kill this creature. Without the Force, he might have no other choice, but because he has learned to embrace his own power, he may have one alternative option.

"Lugna ner dig," he speaks in his native tongue, his tone calm, yet betraying a bit of uncertainty as he stretches his hand out toward the spider who now is approaching the base of the tree and looking up at him as though he is nothing more than prey, "Vänskap. Kom ihåg mig. Do not allow them to make enemies out of us."

The spider, hardly reminiscent of the infamous Sputnik, leaps toward him, lashing angrily with its two foremost legs. Its impact against the tree threatens to shake Grievance loose from his perch and forces him to retreat a bit higher as more venom is spat in his direction. A bit of the spray lands on his upgraded armor and the cyborg seethes under the corrosive burn melting shallowly into his durasteel arm.

"Avstå!" he commands, infusing more authority into his tone, "You are confused, min vän. Kom ihåg mig. You will work with me, not against me, comrade. Nothing has changed."

He can feel the power pulsing through him, rippling outward to meld the will of the spider with his own. Closing his eyes briefly, he gasps as he finds himself able to see through his two eyes what Sputnik sees through eight. It spooks him a bit; almost enough to jostle him right out of the tree, but upon opening his eyes again, he finds his mutated pet retreating to the ground, no longer aggressive toward him, but wary as though it suddenly realizes they are all being watched.

Grievance descends cautiously, not entirely sure the animal bond he has exercised is really taking effect here. Upon reaching the ground, he realizes his success as Sputnik regards him with calm acceptance as though they are the same.

"Come, min vän," he says with solid confidence, "Let us see what else Darth Hades has up his sleeve."

Hades watched at a distance as Vexx used the Force to spark Sputnik into recognizing him.

Hades knew it had been a possible outcome. Unfortunately, his apprentice had failed to realize what was apparent.

The smaller spiders all moved towards the Kaleesh and his pet.

What started as a few moved into hundreds of spiders the size of a trunk.

They swarmed over Sputnik biting and injecting acidic venom. Then they swarmed over Vexx.

    Final Trial - Itsy-Bitsy Spiders

Grievance probably should have paid closer attention to the hoards of smaller spiders, but he had been so appalled by the condition of Sputnik, that became his only focus. As the smaller spiders swarm in a fury, his knee-jerk reaction is to swat them away, but there are more than he can deal with and when they turn on one of their own, the cyborg is again filled with rage.

"You little blighters," he snarls, trying to swat them off of his odd companion, but their relentless attack continues. At last, he reaches out through the Force and clenches his fist in a sweeping motion with his arm as though flinging a fistful of dirt. A good amount of spiders are suddenly raised off of Sputnik and flung toward a stone wall, upon which they splattered like Kashyyyk flies on a shuttle's viewport, making it apparent that Grievance does not have mercy for just any spider.

He starts to repeat the action to kill another round of spiders, but their attack on him stalls his efforts. There are too many to dispose of in segments. He needs to do something that will disband all of them at once. Drawing on the Force again, he can feel the power swirling toward him as though he himself is the vortex of a coastal storm coming off the Jenuwaa Sea. He almost loses his focus as his revamped body can feel the thousands of crawling legs upon him. Though they cannot bite into his armor, what little flesh they can get to is burning with pain.

There is a moment when everything becomes still for Grievance, almost as though time itself has stopped as the power he has just collected begins its reversal. Thereafter comes an explosion of that reversed power in to form of a Force-wave that rolls out at a three-sixty, sending spiders flying in all directions at once with rapid speed and spattering the jungle with their innards. Pity any living creature caught in the blast; Grievance has made quite the disgusting mess.

Feeling slightly drained after this, the cyborg tries to regather his strength quickly, knowing there will be little time for recuperation. Sputnik is wounded and though it is not likely to be fatal, he would benefit from some healing. While Grievance inwardly focuses on replenishing his strength, he reignites his lightsabers and circles his pet, ready to ward off anyone else who may try to make a target out of the mutated creature.

There's a Monster at the end of this story

The cyborg was learning to embrace the full power of the dark side.

This pleased Hades, but he wasn't there yet.

Vexx was guarding his pet with the loyalty of love. That bond could make him stronger, or break him.

Hades dropped from the trees and called on the dark side and let loose a Lesser Force Storm aimed right at Vexx and Sputnik.

    Grievance Vexx
Final Trial - Caught in the Eye of the Storm

Grievance can sense the presence of his master nearby and he remains on guard, scanning the jungle with his eyes and Force abilities combined. Sputnik is on high alert as well, relying on animal instinct to tell him that neither he nor his master are out of harm's way. The spider becomes anxious, wanting to run for cover, but unwilling to leave his caretaker.

The soft impact of an experienced hunter landing on the ground is not lost to Grievance's sensitive hearing and he turns toward the sound, lightsabers still humming in constant rotation around him. He barely glimpses the ghost of a shadow somewhere in the foliage and he stares unblinking into the jungle, knowing someone--presumably his master--is out there. He can feel the Force culminating around him, building unfriendly energy in the air. He backs toward Sputnik, extending his four arms to broaden the reach of his shield of whirling lightsabers.

Then a downburst like a miniature cyclone thunders upon both apprentice and his pet; rain descending in sheets, pinging off Grievance's armor like hurtled stones and hammering down on the soft fur and flesh of the oversized spider; wind circulating around them with such velocity that the cyborg has to anchor his talons into the soil in order to remain on his feet. He can no longer maintain his shield of whirling lightsabers; the wind alone makes it more hazardous than protective. He is forced to deactivate them and return them to his hip armor and about that time, electricity begins to crackle through the localized storm targeting them.

A blast of lightning reverberates through the Kaleesh warrior's metal body, producing a snarl of pain and anger. Yes, anger. He hates it when opponents fight using only the Force. While he has learned to rely on it better than before, he would never use it as his only means to fight. The more this continues, the angrier he becomes toward Darth Hades.

His anger very easily could immobilize him; distract him at best, but he knows he cannot afford that. Still seething from the pain of the lightning frying his circuitry, Grievance pulls all of his anger inward and channels it into an effort to defend himself and his companion in the form of a small, but highly concentrated Force barrier. Tired of waiting for the next beating from his master, the cyborg moves toward where he had seen--or at least he thought he had seen--Darth Hades, keeping one foot on the defensive, but placing the other on the offensive, his Force barrier and his spider moving with him.

Hades was impressed with how the Kaleesh marshalled the Force and made a barrier to shield himself.

    Clever, and, again, impressive.

You truly have grown in power and skill, but you are still not there yet.

He let go of the storm, but the jungles weather system had been riled into action and the rain wouldn't stop for hours.

He called on the Force and used Glaciate. The rain and moisture surrounding the cyborg would instantly turn to solid ice.

Final Trial - Frozen (not the Disney film you're looking for)

Grievance gains no arrogance from his master's commendation, but he appreciates the reassurance that, though he is not quite where Hades wants him to be, he is forging in the right direction. Of course, his gratitude has little time to be expressed through anything more than a single nod acknowledging he has heard his master. He is still very angry.

He does not relinquish his Force barrier as he continues to move toward where he thinks he had seen Hades. The rain pounding against the barrier is deafening and that barrier is starting to wane along with Grievance's strength. Still new to using the Force, he is beginning to feel the strain of trying to maintain the balance.

As if things can't get any worse, he suddenly becomes aware of the temperature plummeting. Rapidly. The rain pelting the Force barrier suddenly becomes falling shards of ice shattering against the transparent shield like so much glass. At the same time, he finds his heavy talons are freezing to the ground, the monsoon runoff on the jungle floor transforming into ice intent on holding him hostage.

This is not good. As a Kaleesh, Grievance is reptilian and cold blooded. The rapid decrease in temperature is not something he had expected to encounter in a jungle of all places. The strain to uphold his Force barrier becomes an even greater struggle as the frigid air begins to put the cyborg into a lethargic state. The continuing rain-turned-ice batters his waning shield before he loses the strength to uphold it altogether. Grievance himself is stooped low as if the weight of the cold itself may push him straight down to the frozen jungle floor. If this happens, he knows he will not get up again. He will die there.

The falling ice is not a real danger to him, but it could injure Sputnik, so he summons his strength to renew the Force barrier, centering it only on the spider now. He doesn't need it. The ice pelting his armor is little more than a nuisance to him. The real threat is the drop in temperature.

Fumbling for a climate control switch set into his heavily armored collar, he can only hope his exoskeleton has enough solar power to keep his organic body temperature regulated long enough to combat Hades' latest Force attack. After adjusting it to be sufficient defense against his own physical weakness, he activates the flamethrower built in to his arm and blasts away the ice directly in front of him, afterward moving forward, followed closely by his companion so at least he can stand on ground with better traction.

"This game of yours grows tiresome, Master," he growls under his breath, angry yellow eyes staring through the jungle foliage, willing the Knight Commander to show himself. Unable to pinpoint him with physical sight, he sends out the Force, seeking to locate Hades' signature. After a few moments of scanning, he is fairly certain he has figured out his approximate location.

Reaching out with the Force, a gesture of his hand stills the falling ice shards in midair. He then reels back as though to pitch a rock through a window and follows through with just such a motion, sending countless shards of ice flying like projectiles toward where he presumes Hades is hiding.

"I am sure your skill with your powers will save you," he mutters, "But I hope the message is clear: while your apprentice I may be, I am not to serve as the whipping boy for those who have failed you."

Out of the ice, and into the fire.

As the ice shards come flying towards Hades he called on his power and ignited the night with Pyromania.

The ice was gone in seconds.

Hades stepped from the jungle foliage and revealed himself.

You are tired of my games, then you should remember, you are supposed to stop me.

You can continue to react, but you will not leave this place a true Sith if you do.

Hades drew and ignited both of his lightsabers.

Come on then! Show me you want to be a Sith!

Final Trial - May I Have This Dance?

Not at all surprised by Hades' ability to stop the projectile ice with ease, Grievance chuckles in something close to satisfaction as the Zabrak reveals himself. Finally! He never has been a fan of hide-and-seek, not even as a youngling. He narrows his eyes angrily at his master; angry for a handful of reasons. Being punished for the shortcomings of others; his pet being mutated and turned against him; the fear and injuries said pet has suffered. Just to name a few.

"I thought you would never ask," he growls, stalking forward while signaling Sputnik to stand down and hold his position. As the spider obeys, Grievance withdraws only one lightsaber from his hip armor and activates it.

Ordinarily, the cyborg would avoid being the first to attack, but this is personal. This is more than just a duel with a Sith Lord. This is where he must draw the line. He is determined to make Hades pay for mutating Sputnik. He is also determined to prove himself a Sith with whom it is not wise to trifle. This is his chance to achieve both and failure is not an option.

He responds to Hades' invitation with a swift Makashi flourish before launching himself at his master, single crimson blade whirling in a humming fury. He lands mere strides away from where Hades stands and it looks like he is going in with every intent of chopping his master to pieces, but at the last second, he retreats as though afraid to actually engage the Sith Lord, an honorable opportunity he has only dreamed of up until now. His masked face is unreadable, but one might detect a strong undercurrent of apprehension and uncertainty in the Kaleesh apprentice if not for the riptide of anger still swelling below the surface as his path moves backward with almost premeditated grace...

    It takes Two to Tango.

Such a disappointment. The cyborg moved to engage and then, at the last minute, he backed away.

Hades focused on the cyborg legs and pulled with the Force. As he did, he surged forward and stabbed at his chest while reversing his Pull into and hard Force Push.
