I think whichever team score first in all likelihood will be the winner.

Question : why doesn't Portugal's coach get the same credit for his defensive tactics that Conte got for Italy?

 

France deserved to lose for wasting so many chances. Congrats Portugal, especially omega.

 

Thanks guys! I never thought I'd see Portugal lift a trophy like that especially as the team have gotten weaker compared to the team we had a decade ago.
And a bit ironic we won it Greek style.

Because Italy plays with a high pressing defensive style, and are much better and faster at build up while attacking. Portugal sits deeps, their build up was slow with lots of misplaced passes. So Italy were more entertaining to watch compared to Portugal.

 

Congrats Tiago. I'm glad for Portugal's fans, because hey, no matter how undeserved it's still a championship. So enjoy that buddy



But man, how is it that even when I'm rooting for France I hate France? They beat all the wrong people and lose to all the wrong people. What an embarrassment.

Btw it's been ten years plus one day since Zidane threw the WC to Italy. So... Yeah. France. Smh.

 

I'm amazed Portugal got to the final, but they managed to pull off an upset and lay to rest the ghost of 2004.

That remote humanity side of me is actually quite happy for Ronny. Watching him on the sidelines, I think he'll make a great manager.

 

Are there any rumours of C.Ronaldo for the English manager job? He already got the European championship trophy, a real motivator seems just like the man England needs.

That video is quite cute. I recall reading, after joining Real Madrid, Ronny would call Sir Alex every time he won a trophy or individual award.
