Return has always been my favorite trailer, and... man, does Nico's outfit looks so great in 4K.

I'm still on the fence about a cinematic for LotS. Blur trailers are expensive, and unless it's Lucasfilm footing the bill for that trailer, I just don't see it happening. If we get one, I figure it'll be in-game. Of course, I didn't think TOR would ever come to Steam, and I was wrong about that, so...

I figure we'll get a trailer similar to the one we got during the 5th Anniversary, or hopefully, something a bit longer and more looking back over the course of the game like the "Documentary" we got when the game launched.

Also now the trilogy is complete.

 

Currently I'm playing as a trooper, since I never actually completed that class storyline. Right now I just started Alderaan. The way I'm playing my character, he may be the good guy but he is not a good guy. I headcanon him as a former child soldier and he is willing to do some truly awful things in the name of the Republic. Though he does have a few redeeming qualities. He doesn't accept bribes, he's not interested in profiting off others or personal gain, and he's loyal to the Republic and his fellow soldiers, which includes reporting on those with authority who are abusing or neglecting their men.

 

Interestingly if you play Darkside I think this is canon. There is a line about it with Jorgan, if you are a lightsider he makes comment about the academy, but if you are dark I think it is something about being a child soldier.

 

Yeah, I am aware. I was unable to get that conversation much to my frustration though thanks to the current morality system which I mentioned earlier that I hate. I was actually trying to play my character as neutral rather than dark, since I find the dark side corruption rather distracting (especially when playing as a non Force sensitive). So even though I couldn't get the conversation and I was not going to play through the whole prologue again just to get it, I still headcanon it.

They altered the backstory based on your alignment? Thats so cool, I never knew that

 

Yeah it's like a line early in the story. A neat touch, easy to miss. But I like it.

 

Also you can turn the dark side corruption off if you want.

 

Now that seems to be an interesting Force power... so Sith can turn Sith eyes now on and off like Palpatine in the PT?

It is just a button that you press though

 

I mean in SWTOR ALL of our force powers are buttons you press.
