*The Outlander Queen* (Round Robin sign up thread)

This story takes place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.

Civil war has broken out on the mid-Rim world of Myrrdall, a planet that has just been accepted as a member of the Rebel Alliance. Rather than risk their own troops to invade and subdue the rebel sympathizers, the Empire has sown seeds of sedition among Myrrdal's lower class, and is watching gleefully as the planet tears itself apart.

The ruling council of war-torn world sends a plea for help to the Alliance. Hoping to preserve the ancient dynasty that has ruled the planet for centuries, they ask for a heavily armed escort to evacuate their young queen and her advisors.

The Alliance responds, dispatching Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and a wing of rebel starfighters to affect a rescue.
Just when the whole mission appears to be a dismal failure, the young queen reappears.

The problem is, she seems to have ner own ideas about what should be done. Saddled with the unenviable job of bodyguards,Han and Luke find their work cut out for them as the young royal desides to take her fate into her own hands.
Will Myrrdal be another casualty in the war against the Empire? Or can unlikely allies resue the planet from self-destruction?

Sound interesting to anyone? I'm looking to start this as a Round Robin. Almost any characters from Episode IV is welcome, as well as OCs, Rebels and Imperials alike. Writers are also welcome to have multiple characters.
