    Hey I'm here but nobody else is. Us praire folk are out farming and combining so that we get our food on the table, hehehe. But youd think that there would be at least one or two more people roamin these boards.

    Moved last July to accept a teaching job in a small town. It's great, but I miss Regina a lot.

    Where is this small town located in Japan? Is it by any known city or anything?

    Depends what you call a 'known city'. I'm about 30 kilometres away from Kumamoto City...

    that overly sux.... I hate cold weather...

    I'm really having trouble adjusting to the weather here in Japan. I mean, it's almost November, and it's still getting up to 25 degrees in the daytime!

    dude! thats like hot! right now its around zero degrees celcius or a bit colder... Calgary has some pretty weird weather... I wish it was warm!

    From time to time during the past week its been b/w minus 10 and plus 2. I dont understand it and i frankly hate it! Boo winter!!!

    That's the worst part about being where I am in Japan- it' s not far south enough to get snow. It's just far enough to get a wet, cold, ugly winter.

    God I wish someone would bring the miracles of insulation and central heating to this country.

    lol poor you... that overly bites that you get no snow....

    yea my friend went to japan last year with her hockey team.... and she said that it gets very cold... but she also said they had heated toliet seats :p

    sooo.... anyone looking forward to Halloween? (I love halloween even though I'm too old to go trick-or-treating)

    Halloween is my favourite holiday, but it's not really observed at all in Japan. I've been trying to set up some Halloween parties for my students, but there just doesn't seem to be much interest. And on top of that, costume stuff is nearly impossible to find here. :(

    aww.... that really bites....

    I don't know what to be for Halloween... and I think I'm going to a costume party at my church tonight [face_plain] but o well... I'll figure something out o_O

    Yeah I cant really figure what to be either for halloween. Its tough especially when youre out of HS and into university.
