The Master supported his apprentice, and saw his severed arm, levitating it to Tay’s free hand. Then seeing Manniwen attacking, Nkri pointed his free hand, and a current of lightning bolts formed, emerald gnarled branches of energy hurled at Manniwen. Nkri then back slowly with his Apprentice toward the exit as he unleashed Electric Judgement at Tay’s sister, creating a fence of emerald electricity.

"Pfft. A dusting. I object! The gore that coats these hallowed halls tell a story too rich to be simply washed away! And don't even get me started on the various.." Iudex squints. "..Fluids. For how can the Pit stimulate genuine combat if there's no risk of accidentally becoming Patient Zero in a new plague?"

"..Dusting." He scoffed incredulously. "What has the galaxy come to?"

 

I'm always one for good lighting and I'd really hate to have to scrape lumps of who knows what off my armor.

 

There's a lot to be said for staying sanitary.

Tia walks in, a huge Cheshire cat grin and picks up a pike "fight me, come on, fight me"

Illyana stealthily sneaks in to escort her out "don't mind her, she's over eager"

murmurs are heard on the way out "but there are Jedi in there..." it was Tia's voice.

 

IC:

Iudex cocks his head to the side in response to Tia's sudden outburst. "I have been curious to see the extent of your abilities." He said, amused.

"If a fight is what you want, this is the place to do it."

Illyana stopped "hey new girl"

"what?" Tia snapped

"some dude that looks like he's missing from Mortal Kombat wants to see what you've got"

Tia looks up at Illyana perplexed "what is mortal combat?"

Illyana "it's...nevermind, anyway, Master Ludux is offering you a battle, or are you chicken?"

"I'm not a chicken!" Tia snapped and marched back into the pit, picking up the pike, which was clearly too big for her.

Illyana rolled her eyes "hey new girl" she tosses her a Flail

"I'd rather have a lightsaber" Tia said catching it. She turns to Ludux "hey you...you have a lightsaber?" she grinned hopefully

 

The Circle-Lord's amused expression only deepened. "Two of them, in fact." He said, gesturing to the twin hilts hanging from his belt. "But that is beyond your abilities." Iudex glanced upwards towards the stands, curious to see who, if anyone, was in attendance. Ultimately, he decided, it wasn't important. This was to be but a lesson for another's pupil, not a grand duel between equals.

If nothing else, the whelp would learn her Superior's proper name and title.

Iudex placed his hands on his hips, looping his thumbs around the loops of his belt.

"Last chance to turn back." He stated bluntly, his features cooling. "Otherwise, the lesson doesn't stop until first blood."

 

First blood? Weren't we just talking about cleaning this place, and now the Sith want to bleed all over it.

 

So uncivilized.
