    I think Rian will REPLACE her in 2021. Iger will put him as head of LFL just to rile the spiteful SW fan base.

    Bob Iger hired a video editor to film him saying “you’re fired,” and to then slow the footage down so that it takes three years for him to say it. It will enjoy a limited release on Kathleen Kenbedy’s office TV screen, as well as in the minds of bigoted fans around the world.

    No, it's a fact. I can't believe you guys haven't heard. Rian will soon be running LFL. I just hope he is gracious enough to let KK direct a film.

    I guess we will find out by 2021 if indeed rian johnson is running for president of lucasfilm or not. Right now we have not heard anything yet.

    Bit late to the party here, but honestly it's a shame they seem to have cancelled Rian's trilogy. I was really looking forward to it.:(

    I hope this doesn't mean LFL will only be sticking with 'safe' filmmakers from now on. It would be a shame if SW fell into the same-old same-old trap trap that so many other franchises *cough* Jurassic World *cough* seem to.

    Oh well...

    Same here, though if the turnip chooses a bag of dirt as it's Vice President, I would only begrudgingly vote for the turnip.

    Imagine if they are all unopened birthday cards with $20 inside each of them to substitute for a present. KK, when the time came, would no longer be the head of LFL - but rather the owner when she gathers up all of those 20's into a few wads and buys the Star Wars franchise from Disney. There would then be great Star Wars films for many years to come.

    Maybe Rian Johnson will be fired from his trilogy and it'll be taken over by the Game of Thrones guys and then they'll be fired and replaced by Ron Howard!
