Social ~The RPF Sunny Beach Vacation~ (Open to All)

Invitation:

Greetings

You are hereby invited to a Sunny Beach Vacation. This year, it shall be hosted on the water world of Scarif, just off the Manda Merchant Run, located in the Abrion Sector. We just ignore the fact it was listed within an Imperial Exclusion Zone otherwise the surf, sun and sand this tropical paradise provides will go to waste.

Enclosed you shall find a token. This shall take you there and is also your proof of entry. Hold down the button and close your eyes and count to ten. Make sure you've packed the sunscreen with your beach gear.

Regardless of whether you are experiencing the cold of winter or caught in heat and humidity of summer, we all need a place to unwind. It would be wonderful to see you there.

If you aren't inclined for swimming and beach activities, there will be plenty of food and drink to enjoy at the cabana and restaurants, and other activities about the island.

Attend as yourself or as one of your RP characters. Don't forget to sign the guest book and to indicate in which realm/RPG you reside from.

About Scarif



Described as a remote tropical world in the Outer Rim. The surface is mostly water, dotted with archipelagos, volcanic island chains. Apparently it was the site to a top secret Imperial Research Facility…


The Resort



We have all the luxuries of a tropical resort… tennis courts, swimming pools, gymnasium, spas, restaurants. Stay at one of the hotel or hire a bungalow near the beach.

We also have equipment hire and arrange for tours about the islands and the surrounding reefs.

Whether you want to go bike riding along one of the jungle trails, take a boat out onto the water, go snorkelling or scuba diving to explore the marine life and coral reefs.

The Beach



White sands, crystal clear emerald waters, bright blue skies. Welcome to tropical paradise!

We've set up the cabana to provide refreshments on the sands. Our bartenders are said to be highly skilled and trained for most drinks.






How to participate:

The aim is relaxation. For yourself (or your characters) to unwind.

Open to everyone. No CS is required to participate. Come as either yourself or IC as one of your RPG characters.

IC: Corran Horn

Corran had ditched the robes for something more suited for the tropical climate. Shirt and shorts. Mirax had said she'll join him later. Walking along the beach, he saw the couple by the cabana and made his way over for a drink too. He heard the request and watched in amusement at the small yellow bartender, with what appears to be a wig and a fake moustache, jabber something back and moved fast at making a drink for the lady in the summer dress.

He smiled and nodded a greetings to the lady. "Good to see you, Colonel."

The bartender came back with a drink for Adalia and then jabbered in some gibberish to him. He furrowed his brow and shook his head. "I'll have something a little stronger than that, please."

"Hmmm. Don't see them everyday." He remarked to Adalia as the bartender tottered off.

He looked over and gave a small nod of greetings and flashed as smile to the black robed, mysterious figure. "Good day"

Comes in from the Hotel area, sees Adalia and Corran and senses something dark and sinister. Sits next to her, slipping arm around her waist looks to Corran and then to dark strange man on the other side of the bar.

Whispers to her ear.

Who is that? He's not giving of good vibes.

Can I get a Corellian Ale please?

 

IC Corran Horn

"Mirax said she has an errand to run and will catch up with me later- Ah, thanks."

Corran took the drink from the bartender and he left a cred chip to pay for it. The bartender picked it up, bit into it and then shouted "BAH!" then tossed it back on the table and turned to Kyp. It nodded and tottered off.

Corran smirked and gave a nod to Kyp. "Ah, everyone deserves a chance to unwind. Hows tricks keeping you?"

 

IC Kyp Durron

"Sure they do........." He turned to Corran. "Tricks? Really? How old are you? Are you about to break out a skateboard or something?"

 

IC Corran Horn

"I'm only as old as I feel…" Corran smirked as he raised his glass as a small salute. "...so you must be ancient."

As Corran took a sip, the bartender returned with Kyp's ale.

RPG: Black Sheep

Bursting through the door with child like exuberance she smiled broadly. Finally she had leave, after a short visit home she came here. She was covered in sunblock and wearing a loose fitting Patriot's Jersey over a modest one piece green swimsuit. Why would you come to a beach resort without swimming? Part of her wondered if Jeen was here too, or if she could invite him. Her stomach did a happy little flip thinking about it. The blush came to her cheeks as she moved to the bar with all the people. Showing no fear she hopped up on the bar stool.

"Fizzy drink please." she called out with a broad grin. Looking down the bar she smiled even more. One of the people looked really familiar. "Hi, my name's Ianna," she said to no one but, looking at the woman with red hair in the arms of a rather good looking man but, Ianna wouldn't care about that...she had her Jeen. "Do you know a woman named Amber...Amber Tehanis."

leans into her neck as he listens to her talk to the young girl - hears Corrans barb

I was told only as old as the woman I'm holding....guess that makes you ........snorts... not even sure, empty handed? Dead?

 

Ianna Mcear

"We serve in the same squadron." Ianna explained before sipping on her cool glass of sugary fizzy drink. "Didn't know she had a wider family. I guess I'll have something to tell her when I get back." She turned away blushing a little as the man leaned into the redhead. "You taking a break too?" She looked over seeing someone else enter the bar. She waved at them with a broad smile.

 

IC Corran Horn

Corran stood up and pulled over a chair for Ianna to sit down with them as her drink arrived.

He saw the newcomer and returned the greetings with a smile and small wave. The bartender went off to make a drink for them.

 

Ianna Mcear

She sipped her drink a little more as she made her way over to the table her flip flops slapping against the floor and her feet. Dropping into the chair she set her drink to the side and looked at the food menu. Oooh roasted boar, that sounded nice.

"You just look like her is all." She turned the man that pulled out the chair, a little embarrassed to look at the PDA that was going on...it was making her miss Jeen a little more...though they weren't anywhere close to doing that...in public. "Hi, I'm Ianna."

 

IC Ianna Mcear

"What's your name?" She asked turning back to the red haired woman. Taking a another long sip it seemed she drained her glass and was making loud sucking sound pulling up nothing.

Leans around Adalia and winks at young girl as he puts his drink down.

"Hey."

 

Ianna Mcear

Ianna's eyes widen taking another embarrassing sip through her straw but stopping mid-slurp. She didn't know what to do, meeting both a Colonel and a Jedi...much less a Master...she didn't even know what that meant. She blushed a little looking away from the man before turning smiling.

"So important." She commented, "I'm just a pilot."
