That sounds rather dark, but the Rebellion made us all do things we regretted later.

She looks down for a moment.

Sits back and considers the time space continuum here.....

She's actually older than me

she fiddles with a utensil.

Back then I was ....17, only just.

she shrugs

things were .............almost simple then

she does what a friend did recently and with her fingers numbers things

Empire? Bad. Vong? Bad.........this current war? I have no kriffin' idea.

The light had begun to fade a little. Bernael finished the latest chalice he had ordered, set it down on the table, flipped a few credits to the bartender, and departed. He headed to the cabin, not apart from others, but in the mix of them, better to fit in so to speak. Removing his robe and mask he secured them in a locker that opened only to his genetic material. His long black hair was drawn back in a simple clasp, lightweight, silky grey top and pants over a pair of low boots, also grey, were put on. Under the back of the shirt, his two kukri were sheathed, and a pair daggers in sheaths on each leg completed his outfit. A touch of the Force created a compulsion that anyone who looked at his face saw an apparently human one looking back at them, one with normal eyes, light grey in color.

He exited the cabin, reset his own security, and headed back in to the resort. As he had before, he kept his presence in the Force muted to almost that of the background of the planet. Heading toward the sounds of noise and lights beginning to appear he passed the Casino, still empty at the moment and then came upon one of the restaurants available to those here.

Entering, he grimaced slightly, 'Poor choice, but committed now' he thought upon seeing a couple already here, one of whom he already knew, to a degree. It was the female he'd been compelled to hunt earlier. But he wasn't here for that, just to explore, unfortunate though that it was her here.

He waited for the host to arrive, then followed him to a table he'd mentally prompted the being to give him, a good distance from the couple but able to keep them in sight.

Understands too late she's said too much and gives her head a shake.

I'm sorry, this time thing has messed me up a little. I've said too much.

The waiter arrived and Bernael briefly skimmed the menu before ordering. He chose the largest steak, bloody as could be, with the side of a loaded baked potato, and a Corellia Ale.

The waiter left, and as he waited for his food to arrive he sat, thinking. Out of boredom he began slowly raising the temperature in the restaurant.

Her Parents did died when she was 14, explosion at what was supposed to be a peaceful protest against the Empire I think........was a very long time ago.

My mother died when I was 12 or so, father a few years later, same sort of thing. Fighting the Empire, it was my mission to carry on their fight. Got myself a brother in there as well.......different mother. Seems my father got........lonely after she died.

She gave a soft smile.

Jems a good kid......shouldn't say that, he's 31 now......hardly a kid

By the time the food arrived the temperature in the restaurant had gone up by at least ten degrees. He pulled the napkin from the table, laid it over his lap, and began cutting, eating his food.

From time to time he would sip from the ale, apparently unconcerned and unaware of the continuously rising heat.

As he eats Bernael sees one of the party, the one he does not know, stand up for a moment.

Letting his focus change and the temperature begin to plummet, he reaches out mentally and pulls the man's chair back about 10 inches, before he can sit down.
