Do they have an Eriaduan chef here? Never expected to see this soup so well done outside of the Seswenna Sector.

Bernael sat, still listening in to the conversation next to him. Just before his drink arrived, the man next to him turned and spoke. "Excuse me,I don't mean to sound crude, but you seem awfully familiar to me. Have we met before, maybe on Coruscant? Uh, the Government District?” As he paused, Bernael internalised a grin, as the man was quite familiar, if not the same person sitting before him. "I'm sorry, it would probably help if I told you my name." The man extended his hand to Bernael. "Aryan Graul."


Bernael appraised the man as he reached out his hand. ‘Definitely not the same Graul I know, there are some similarities I can feel, but still different.’ He held out his own hand and in a light baritone, “Pleasure to meet you, Bernael is the name. And you too do seem familiar but I cannot quite place it. I have spent a good deal of time on Coruscant so perhaps you are correct that we met there.”

Oh they sometimes seem to defer coordination to some of our squadmembers, but...

Oh its defenetly better than the food you are getting in the army, we had a chef droid in our squadron but he is apparently out of comission now so its back to ration bars and protein milk.

really makes me long for retirement. Have been fighting for so long, lost so many people I cared for.

There is someone. And I was just about to leave but, your cousin and that farmgirl I mentioned, they convinced me to stay, at least for now. I simply can´t abbandon my squadmates, not now. So I promised to stay until the emperor is dead, whenever that will be.

Guess I would be torn either way, either leaving two young women behind who became like daughters to me, or not help my people and the woman I love in their struggle against the empire.

Is overcome with sadness.

Pretty much yeah, but guess there is more. If we can´t stop the empire, if the rebellion fails what hope does an Eriaduan resistance group have? We need to think of the bigger picture, most of the galaxy hates my people, they blame us for what happened on Alderaan. If I stay in the rebellion, maybe I can help them from a distance, speak for and represent my people.

Location: Reception desk

The Navy crewer had relocated to reception, hoping to at least get a room before this escapade ended and she got beamed back to the Darkest Night.

Her half-finished drink was beside her bare elbow as she leaned her crossed arms on the polished marble counter, and watched the staffmember tapping her details into their system.

She had turned round from the bar to see her sink hole levelled and disappeared. Whilst she had been shocked, she had adjusted and mentally written the bathroom furniture off.

"Here you go, Ma'am." The worker passed her a white keycard. "You are in 44, the Lewis Hamilton suite. Hope you like cars."

Ori frowned as her fingers pinched around the card. "What's a car?"

"Ground-based personal transport. Wheeled. You'll see."

Shreddies nodded her thanks, and headed to a wall map that she had spied earlier, laying out the resort, with a red 'you are here' spot prominently displayed.

IC Renn Turon

As he waited for Helenith to follow the candy trail Renn had to, on multiple occasions, deter individuals or animals from taking the bag of candy. As he was still in an alternate form, just to surprise her, he had to use his mind for this. But he could feel what those approaching feared and used that against them.

While he waited, he felt a newer presence at the resort. 'Interesting, I never expected the vampire to come here for something this social.' he thought. Perhaps later he would get a chance to mess with Bernael, but there were also so many others he could have fun with as well. Time would tell.

Helinith watched the Master leave, before continuing to creep onward.
Her bare feet made no sound on the tree branches but this required a snail's pace to maintain.

Finally, ahead, she saw the lumpy outline of the Neti sitting below a tree. She leapt, aiming to land on his back.

IC Renn Turon

It was tough, sitting still, as he felt a presence, in the Force, sneaking up on him. He knew, quite well, the flavor of that presence. 'Sneaky, sneaky, little craziness.' He had to time this just right. He heard, just barely, a rustle in the branches, then a tiny creak as she leapt. In the seconds before she landed, he rapidly shifted, turning his form a full 180 degrees.

He heard her laughing squawk as he caught her in his arms. A quick hug, and he swung her around and onto one broad shoulder, letting her sit there, where she could hold onto the side of his head, for balance, should she need it. "Missed you, little one" he said, laughing.

Standing slowly as to not let her fall, he walked over to the sack of candies, extending one hand to grab it. Before looping it over his belt, he grabbed a fruit roll from inside, tossing it up to her.

"So what fun do you want to get into, pretty, little craziness?"

"Fun, huh..."
Helinith chewed on her fruit roll appreciatively.
"We should probably choose something that doesn't involve killing people this time."

She looked around for an idea.

"Well there is an open bar. Unless you have any other ideas."

"I do believe the staff would frown on us killing anyone." A small laugh followed, then Renn turned his head and again saw the bar.

"The bar seems a good start, yes. Oh, nice outfit, it suits you." He walked over to the bar, ducking, one hand wrapped around Helenith so she didn't fall, and entered the bar. Letting the arm just below the shoulder she was sitting on extend to the floor, he widened it slightly, giving her a slide to have a fun ride to the ground, before they approached the bar to order.

Mel Calrissian
The Resort Casino

Well, that was fun. She'd enjoyed hearing Dr. Rouser’s stories (Mr. Graul had excused himself after a bit), and he’d dropped a few tantalizing hints about the next big score that he was after. Mel was keen for details (an adventure would be diverting, and a good way to get out of the work awaiting her back home), but it was time for dinner and she was hungry. She’d have to catch up with him later; perhaps she could convince him to take her along as an assistant.

A quick shower to rinse off salt-brine breeze and sand, and she’d changed into a shimmering gold-beaded sheath from a well-known designer. Dinner in the luxurious dining terrace overlooking the ocean (a locally grilled fish with a spicy fruit sauce, salad, lovely white wine and a light, citrusy dessert), and she watched the sun set and the moon rise, completely at her leisure. The little yellow serving staff were falling all over themselves to wait on her, which was nice. She wondered which world they came from; it would be a good place to recruit staff for Dad’s latest venture, maybe.

But right now, the important part awaited. It was in her blood. No Calrissian worthy of the name could avoid checking out the casino. Her smile was genuine as she walked down the marble steps into the spacious room, with flashing, colorful lights and tables of rubes—er, players—waiting to be parted from their hard-earned cash.

Location: Lewis Hamilton suite

Once she had found her room, spied the unusual-looking double bed - a far cry from her warrant officer's bunk - stripped down and climbed barefoot up onto the spongey black wheel on the front left corner of what presumably was a 'car' that Reception had warned her about; put one leg then the other over a horizontal black U-shaped bar which seemed designed to stop her falling out of bed, then sat on the bar (halo), contemplating the mattress before her.

She slid forwards, her bare knees diving deep into the spongey white mass, and frankly did not get much further than that, luxuriating into the mattress and sheets, laying on her back and doing snow angels, and losing herself in the comfort.
